EX-6100PoE Deutsch
Der EX-6100PoE ist ein Metall Gigabit Ethernet Switch mit PoE Funktion für bis zu 4 End­geräte. Der Switch ermöglicht Ihnen das Sie Strom und Daten über ein einziges Ethernet Kabel an Ihre Ethernet Endgeräte im Netzwerk liefern können. Er unterstützt die 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet Standards. Vollständig IEEE 802.3at konformer PoE (PSE=Power Source Equipment) Typ 1 und 2 Betrieb wird unterstützt. Die Maximalleis­tung an den PoE Ports beträgt im Typ 1 13W und im Typ 2 25,5W. Durch die externe Stromversorgung über den +48-57V Terminal Block kann problemlos die Leistung zur
Verfügung gestellt werden. Der EX-6100PoE gewährleistet eine sichere Datenübertra-
gung und exzellente Performance von bis zu 1000Mbit/s. Zusätzlich ist der EX-6100PoE auch in dem erweitertem Temperaturbereich von -40C° bis +85C° einsetzbar. Der EX­6100PoE kann problemlos mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen DIN-Rail Kit auf einer Trägerschiene in einem Serverschrank angebracht werden.

4. Hardware Installation
Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise. Da es große Unterschiede zwi­schen PCs gibt, können wir Ihnen nur eine generelle Anleitung zum Anschluss der EX-
6100PoE geben. Bei Unklarheiten halten Sie sich bitte an die Bedienungsanleitung
Ihres Computersystems.
1. Installieren Sie die EX-6100PoE an die Wand oder mit dem mitgelieferten DIN-Rail Kit auf einer Tragschiene.
2. Verbinden Sie das RJ45 Netzwerkkabel mit dem Dateneingang Anschluss.

5. Reinigung
Zur Reinigung des Gerätes verwenden Sie bitte ausschließlich ein trockenes nicht fa­serndes Tuch und entfernen Sie die Verschmutzung mit leichtem Druck. Im Bereich der Anschlüsse bitte darauf Achten, dass keine Fasern des Tuchs in der Buchse hinterlas­sen werden. Verwenden Sie bitte zu Reinigung in keinem Fall ein feuchtes oder
nasses Tuch!

3. Schließen Sie jetzt den Stromanschluss des optionalen Netzteils an den Terminal Block des Hubs an und stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Netzteils in eine Steckdose.
4. Schließen Sie nun Ihre PoE-PD-Gerät an die PoE Anschlüsse an. Die gelbe PoE Power LED sollte aufleuchten, wenn das PD korrekt erkannt und vom Ethernet-Switch versorgt wurde.

English EX-6100PoE
The EX-6100 is a metal Gigabit Ethernet switch for 4 devices. The switch enables you to deliver power and data to your Ethernet devices on the network via a single Ethernet cable. It supports the 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet standards. Fully IEEE 802.3at com­pliant PoE (PSE=Power Source Equipment) Type 1 and 2 operation supported. The maximum power at the PoE ports are for Type 1 13W and for Type 2 25,5W. The exter­nal power supply via the +48-57V terminal block makes it easy to provide the required power. It uses data transfer rates up to 1000Mbit/s. It provides a secure and very high
data transfer on each single port. In addition, the EX-6100PoE can also be used in the
extended temperature range from -40C° to +85C°. The EX-6100PoE can easily be mounted on a carrier rail in a server rack by using the supplied DIN-Rail kit.

Please observe the following installation instructions. Because there are big differences between PC's, we can only give you a general guide for connecting the EX-6100PoE. If
you have any questions, please refer to the operating instructions of your computer
system.
1. Install the EX-6100PoE on the wall or on a mounting rail by using the supplied DIN- Rail kit.
2. Connect the RJ45 network cable to the data input connector.

5. Cleaning
For cleaning please use only a dry fluff less cloth and remove the dirt with gently pres­sure. In the area of the connectors please make sure that no fibres from the cloth re­main in the connectors. Attention! Never use a moist or wet cloth for cleaning!

3. Now connect the power connector of the optional power supply to the terminal block of
the switch and plug the power plug of the power supply nto an electrical outlet.
4. Now connect your PoE-PD device to the PoE connectors. The yellow PoE Power LED
should light up when the PD is correctly detected and powered by the Ethernet switch.
