Choosing a Grid Angle:
The Rogue Grid was designed to produce 3 different grid angles; 25˚, 45˚, and when aligned and stacked together, a 16˚ angle. The 25˚ and 45˚ angles are marked on the outside curve of each honeycomb grid, describing the angle at which light exits the grid. Smaller degree angles produce smaller spots of light. For example, the 16˚ grid produces the smallest spot of light.
1. To insert a honeycomb grid, align the grooves on the side of the grid with the corresponding alignment ridges on the inside of the Grid Bezel. Firmly push the honeycomb grid into the Bezel until it comes to a complete stop.
2. To remove a grid simply push it back out of the bezel.
3. To create the 16˚ degree angle, align & stack both grids into the bezel together. They may be stacked in any order.
Attaching the Rogue Grid to your Flash:
1. Attach the grid strap to the flash head by wrapping the bottom strap around the flash head. To ensure a secure fit, pull the elastic band tight and fasten the rubber tab to the velcro on the strap. The two snap positions on the grid strap are designed to allow greater adjustability to accommodate smaller and larger flash heads.

2. Position the grid strap on the flash head so the top of the strap is even with the face of the flash. Once the honeycomb grid is attached, this positioning will allow for about 1” between the face of the flash and the grid.
3. Form a collar with the extended white flaps of the grid strap and attach the ends using the hook and loop.
4. Align “Rogue Grid” on the face of the grid bezel with the black “Rogue” label on the top of the grid strap collar.
5. Firmly push the grid into the end of the collar. Be sure to check that the edges of the collar tuck under the outer ring of the grid all the way around.
