IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: To guard against injury, basic precautions should be
observed, including the following.

1. READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
and all important notices on the appliance before using. Failure
to do so may result in damage to unit.

2. This is not an aquarium lamp. It should not be used on any type
of aquarium.

6. WARNING (for U.S.A. and Canada only): This appliance has a

polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt
to defeat this safety feature.

7. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating
should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the
appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange
the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.

8. Read and observe all the important notices on the appliance.

9. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.

10. Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug,
or if it is malfunctioning or if it is dropped or damaged in any
manner. if the power cord of this appliance is damaged
it should be retuned to the manufacturer or authorized service
agent for replacement, there may be a small charge for this

11. Make sure the appliance is securely installed before operating it.

Instructions:

Clamp Installation (hanger portion not required):
Note: This clamp must not be used to mount this lamp onto any

glass item, terrarium, shelf, or aquarium.

1. Screw light bulb into the Exo Terra Glow Light Clamp Lamp
(follow maximum wattage guidelines). TIP: apply a thin layer of
petroleum jelly to the threads on the base of the light bulb before
screwing it in. This will make it easier to unscrew the bulb when
it is time to replace it.

2. Attach the clamp bracket to
the lamp socket, wide part
of the bracket goes around
the socket (adjust the screw
to widen the bracket as
necessary) (A).

end of the clamp between
narrow part of the bracket
and tighten the screw until

4. Attach the lamp to the top rim portion of your terrarium (not to
the glass part of the terrarium). Note: squeeze the clamp to open
it, release the clamp to close it. Test that the Glow Light is firmly
secured to the terrarium by gently taping the lamp with your
fingers. Ensure that the lamp is positioned over the top metal
screen portion of your terrarium and NOT over any glass, plastic
parts, or other flammable material.. Failure to do so could result
in a possible fire hazard.

5. Keep unit out of reach of children. Keep unit away from curtains
or other flammable objects.

Hanging Installation (clamp portion not required):

1. Screw light bulb into the Exo Terra Glow Light Clamp Lamp

(follow maximum wattage guidelines). TIP: apply a thin layer of
petroleum jelly to the threads on the base of the light bulb before
screwing it in. This will make it easier to unscrew the bulb when
it is time to replace it.

2. Insert Hanger into the mounting brackets located on either side
of the lamp socket (C).

other elevated platform using a chain or other recommended
suspension method. Ensure that the lamp is positioned over
the top metal screen portion of your terrarium and NOT over any
glass, plastic parts, or other flammable material.. Failure to do so
could result in a possible fire hazard.

4. Keep unit out of reach of children. Keep unit away from curtains
or other flammable objects.

MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

2. Ce n’est pas une lampe pour aquarium et elle ne devrait être
utilisée pour aucun type d’aquarium.

4. GARDER HORS DE LA PORTÉE DES ENFANTS.

5. Garder la lampe Glow Light loin des rideaux ou de tout objet

6. MISE EN GARDE (pour les États-Unis et le Canada seulement) :

Cet appareil a une fiche polarisée (une broche est plus large que

l’autre). Comme mesure de sécurité, cette fiche ne conviendra
à une prise polarisée que d’une seule façon. Si la fiche ne peut
être insérée complètement dans la prise, on doit la retourner.
Si elle ne convient toujours pas, il faut contacter un électricien
qualifié. On ne doit jamais utiliser l’appareil avec une rallonge

7. Si une rallonge électrique est nécessaire, on devrait employer

d’ampères ou de watts que le calibre de l’appareil peut

surchauffer. On devrait prendre soin de placer le cordon de façon

8. Lire et observer tous les avis importants apparaissant sur
l’appareil.

9. Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour un emploi autre que celui pour
lequel il a été conçu.

10. Ne pas faire fonctionner un appareil si son cordon électrique

Instructions :

Installation de la pince

(portion de l’anneau de suspension non requise) :
Note : Cette pince ne doit pas être utilisée pour installer cette lampe

sur un article en verre que ce soit un terrarium, une étagère, ou un
aquarium.

1. Visser l’ampoule dans la lampe à pince Glow Light Exo Terra
(suivre les directives de puissance maximale en watts).

CONSEIL : appliquer une couche mince de Vaseline sur le filetage

de la base de l’ampoule avant de la visser. Cela facilitera le

l’ouvrir et la desserrer pour la fermer. Vérifier que la lampe Glow
Light est fixée solidement au terrarium en la tapant doucement
avec vos doigts. S’assurer qu’elle est placée au-dessus du
couvercle grillagé de votre terrarium et NON au-dessus d’un
matériau en verre, en plastique ou de tout autre matériau
inflammable. Ne pas procéder ainsi pourrait entraîner un risque
d’incendie.

5. Garder la lampe hors de la portée des enfants. La garder loin des
rideaux ou de tout autre objet inflammable.

Installation de l’anneau de suspension

1. Visser l’ampoule dans la lampe à pince Glow Light Exo Terra

Installationsanleitung:

Klemminstallation (Aufhängung wird nicht gebraucht):
Hinweis: Diese Klammerhalterung darf nicht benutzt werden, um

die Lampe an einem Glasartikel, Terrarium, Regal oder Aquarium zu
installieren.

1. Drehen Sie eine Glühbirne in die Exo Terra Glow Light
Klemmlampe (den Anweisungen für die maximale Wattzahl
gemäß).

2. Befestigen Sie die Schelle
an der Fassung der Lampe;
der große Teil der Schelle

4. Befestigen Sie die Lampe am oberen Rand Ihres Terrariums
(nicht an dem Glasteil des Terrariums). Hinweis: Drücken Sie die
Klammer, um sie zu öffnen und lassen Sie sie wieder los, um sie
zu schließen. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Glow Light ordnungsgemäß
und fest an Ihrem Terrarium sitzt, indem Sie sie vorsichtig mit
Ihren Fingern antippen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lampe
über der Metallabdeckung Ihres Terrariums angebracht ist
und NICHT über einem Glas- oder Plastikteil oder anderen
leicht entzündbaren Materialien. Bei Nichtbeachtung besteht
Feuergefahr.

4. Sujete la lampara en la parte superior del marco de su terrario
(no en la parte de vidrio del terrario). Nota: aprete el sujetador

para abrirlo, suelte el sujetador para cerrarlo. Pruebe que la
Glow Light esta asegurada firmemente a el terrario mediante
con ligeros golpes a la lampara con sus dedos. Asegurarse que
la lampara esta colocada sobre la porción de pantalla de metal
del tope del terrario y NO sobre ningún vidrio, partes plásticas,
u otro material inflamable. Falla en hacerlo puede resultar en un
posible riesgo de incendio.

5. Mantenga alejada la unidad del alcance de niños. Mantega
alejada la unidad de cortinas o de otros objetos infamables.

IMPORTANTI ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA

ATTENZIONE: per prevenire danni, è consigliabile osservare alcune
precauzioni.

6. ATTENZIONE (solo per USA e CANADA): L’unità è dotata di

una spina polarizzata (uno spinotto è più grande dell’altro).
Per sicurezza, questa spina può essere inserita solo in una
presa polarizzata e quindi solo in un verso. Se non si riesce ad
inserire la spina perfettamente nella presa, provare ad inserirla
nell’altro verso. Se il problema persiste, contattare un elettricista
qualificato. Non utilizzare mai una prolunga finché la spina non
è correttamente inserita nella presa. Non tentare di disabilitare
questo dispositivo di sicurezza.

7. Se è necessario servirsi di una prolunga, utilizzarla con una

Installazione del morsetto:
N.B: Questo morsetto non deve essere usato per installare la

1. Avvitare la lampadina incandescente nel portalampada Exo

sulla parte in vetro) N.B: avvitare il morsetto per aprirlo, allentare
il morsetto per chiuderlo. Assicurarsi che la lampadina è fissata
bene al terrarium toccandola leggermente con le dita. Assicurarsi
che la lampadina sia posizionata sulla parte superiore metallica
del terrarium e NON sul vetro, su parti di plastica o altri materiali
infiammabili. L’inosservanza di tale precauzione potrebbe
risultare pericolosa.

5. Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini. Tenere lontano da tende o
altri materiali infiammabili.

Installazione con sospensione:

1. Avvitare la lampadina incandescente nel portalampada a

sospensione Exo Terra (rispettare il wattaggio massimo
consentito). TRUCCO: applicare un sottile strato di gel di petrolio
attorno alla base della lampadina prima di avvitarla. Ciò renderà
più facile svitarla quando sarà ora di sostituirla.

2. Inserire il gancio nei fori posizionati su entrambi I lati del
portalampada (C).

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

WAARSCHUWING: Om u te beschermen tegen verwondingen,

moeten minimale voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht worden genomen,

Clamp Installatie (hangerdeel niet nodig):
Nota: Deze clamp-lamp mag niet gebruikt worden in glazen items,

terrariums, shelf of aquariums.

1. Schroef de lamp in de Exo Terra Glow Light Clamp Lamp
(volg maximum wattage richtlijnen). TIP: voeg een dun laagje
petroleum jelly toe aan de basis van de lamp vooraleer vast te
