Basic Operation Tips
Warning
Please read this manual carefully before using projector.
Operation mistakes may cause damage by electrocution or fire. Follow instructions listed below to use and maintain the projector.
1. Read This Manual
Please read this manual carefully and use the projector according to instructions in manual. It will preserve the life of the unit.
2. Cleaning Projector
Please make sure the electric plug of projector has been disconnected before cleaning; use a damp cloth to wipe down unit. It is best to not use any type of cleaner on the projector.
3. Accessories
All the accessories were packed separately in the box of product, to avoid any possible damage to projector. The unit comes with all accessories for the unit to be fully functional.
4. Working Environment
The projector works best in a non-humid or too dry environment.
5. Set Up And Functionality
The projector needs to be set up on a level horizontal plane & position.
6. Ventilation
Good ventilation provides essential conditions for projector’s continuous running. Please prevent dust from covering the filter; the projector may go into high temperature protection mode due to hot temperature inside. Extreme heat may shorten service life and cause potential issues.
7. Electric Source
The power on the unit is rated at 90 ~ 240V AC. Be aware of outlets being used.
8. Power Cable
Please inspect the power cable before use to make sure it is intact and functional.
9. Abnormal Noises
If you hear abnormal loud noises coming from the projector, please unplug the power cable.
10. Maintenance
Don’t open up or attempt repair projector without necessary support / guide due to higher voltage inside unit. Repair should be performed by a professional technician according to the manual instructions or distributor’s suggestion.
11. Keep Unit Away From Other Heat Emitting Devices
Please ensure the projector is a safe distance from other heat emitting devices, potentially the service life of projector can be shortened.

Prevention
To improve service life of projector, please do not use the projector in an environment with humidity and dust if
possible.
Do not expose the projector to direct sunlight.
ideal working temperature for the projector is 0oC ~ +60oC;
The appropriate storage temperature of projector is -20oC ~ +70oC
Do not block the ventilation window the projector will shut down automatically if internal temperature is too high. The unit has its own system to protect from overheating. Regular clean-up is important for the projector, Do not allow filter to build up dust.
To start up and shut down the projector
Before starting up the projector, please connect the power cable first, then press the “Power” button on control
panel, the indicator light turns red to green.
While shutting down the projector, press the “Power” button again, The LED bulb will go out accordingly.

Remarks: While using the projector ona ceiling, please shift the
high regulator,and ensure all the screws for the 4 hole are in position 1, with length less than 10mm – this is to avoid electrocution due to longerscrews penetrating the plastic shell and touching high voltage components inside the projector.

The image size depends on the distance between projector and screen, there may be 3% deviation among above listed data, Different settings cause various distances, please refer to the instructions, and measure the projection distance frequently while working on ceiling. The projected image willbecome blurred if projection distance is shorter than 2m or longer than 5m.

Installation Of Projector
Installation Method
If installing the projector on the ceiling,please consult a professional installer, also follow diagrambelow for projector positioning.
Be Advised:
1) To avoid damage to projector, please ensure the projector is mounted properly to the ceiling or on stable surface accordingly.
2) Keep the working environment of projector within temperature range around 0 oC ~ 35 oC, otherwise it may cause unnecessary issues.
3) If the projector is used in a humid environment, it may affect the shapeof screen; and cause a functionality issue with the unit.
4) Please ensure enough ventilation is around the projector; otherwise it may shorten service life of projector.

Startup
Note:
If this is the first time to use the projector,please read the “Installation” section in this manual beforeusing. Toconnect the signal
cable and power cable to the projector, follow this operating process: Before starting the projector,please connect external device (such as PC, DVD player,etc.
1, Please put 2AAA size batteries inside the remotecontrol before use;
2, Connect the power cable to the power jack, the indicator light should turn on red, remove the lens cap;
3, Press the powerbutton on remote control, or till the panel indicator lights on.
4, After2 seconds the projector will start up;
5, The projected image may be blurry or in the shape of a trapezoid, please read How to adjust the trapezoidal imagechapter to
adjust.
6, Once the image becomes clear, the user can watch desired selections; The systemparameters of the projector can also be set by reading theGuides for menu settingchapter.

Shutdown Procedure
1. While using the projector,pressthe Powerbutton to shut it down; Until the fans stop running the projector will not be shut down
completely.

1. Power button
(For startup/ shutdown of projector; same function as “Power” button on remote control)
2. Source for signal button
(Use to choose the input signal source. (Such as AV, YPBPR, HDMI2, USB1, USB2, PC or TV etc.))
3. Menu button
(Use to show themain menu or back to the lastmenu; use CH+/- button to moveforward or backward; use V+/- button to select
or enter mobile options.)
4. Indicator
5. The “UP” and “DOWN” buttons on remote control are the same function as “CH+” and “CH-” buttons on control panel, both use the cursor to move upward or downward on the “Menu function” window or on the sub-menu.
6. The “LEFT” and “RIGHT” buttons on the remote control are the same as “V+” and “V-” buttons on face panel, it is used to move the cursor left or right, or to increase or decreasethe volume.

How to adjust the trapezoidal image
During first time use of the projector, the projected image may be blurry or difficult to see, this is due to lack of focus adjustment with the lens and trapezoid correction, please follow the processes below to adjust the focus:
Adjusting Focus
1First rotate the lens towards inward thenoutward slowly, observe the image effecton screen until it becomes clear.
Attention: When bringing the projector from a cold environment to a warm environment, there may be moisture on the lens; please
ensure the moisture is removed completely, then start up the projector.
Trapezoid
Correction
If the projected image is in a trapezoidal shape, it can be resolved by trapezoid correction. If the screen or projector is not level horizontally, the image may be in trapezoidal shape, please try to adjust position of projector angel against the screen to resolve this issue.
If the trapezoid correction fails to resolve the image shape, please reduce the vertical height of projector in relation to the center of the
screen.

Different display modes for theimage can be set to : Standard, Lively,Movie, based on personal preference
Color temperature
You can select different color temperatures, Cold and Warm. This enhances the image.
Aspect ratio
Includes the options of: screen zoom, and displaya 16:9 aspect ratio.
Noise reduction
Image background noise reduction. Enhances the image.
Picture setting
In VGAmode, the picture mode is relative; the brightness can also be adjusted in thismode.

1. Bulb damaged or out off service life, replace the bulb andcheck again;
2. Power switch off/ on too frequently? Can reset 15 min.later.
No image display 1. Areyou sure the lens cap was taken off?
2. Correct connection? Ensure all signal cables are connected correctly,and the right signal input selected.
Remote controller
don’t work
1. Are the batteries dead? In correct position?
2. Target the IR sensor to make fine-tuning (in front of projector);
3. Start up the projector promptly after shutdown. (It takes at least 5 minutes to re-start up the projector.)
Auto shutdown of
projector
1. Dusty filter, please clean it with a dampcloth;
2. Some internal fans damaged, don’t restart projector – it’s already in High Temperature Protection System, Please replace these damaged fans with new ones.

If projector is connected with Laptop, it may need to use keyboard or setting function to change the outputmode, please press Fnand Fat the mean time. (Here marked with “ ” means the buttons.) Take the option for VGA output as sample
