High Velocity Stand Fan

1- OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Note:-Read these instructions fully before commencing assembly and operation of
the fan.
Retain these instructions for future reference.
a) Do not use the fan if the plug or power cord is damaged.
b) Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the grille when the fan is
running.
c) Unplug the fan from the power socket when not in use and when moving it from
one location to other.
d) Unplug the fan from the power socket before cleaning.
e) Do not use or place fan in wet areas such as bathrooms and shower rooms etc.
f) Do not use the fan outdoors and do not allow fan to become wet any water or
liquid entering the fan could cause an electric shock hazard.
g) Do not cover the grille when the fan is in operation.
h) Do not allow children to operate the fan.
i) Completely assemble the fan before use.

3- ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
a) Remove all items of packaging from the fan.
b) Lifting the decorative cap (7) screw the base tube (6) onto the fan base (4) using
the 4 screws (5).
c) Position the weight base insert (3) under the fan base and secure with the L
screw and large washer (1&2).
d) Assemble the fan head (10) onto the extension tube (9), tighten the screw knob to
lock head onto the extension tube.
e) To adjust the height of the fan , loosen the extension tube locking nut (8), adjust to
the required height and tighten the locking nut.
4- OPERATION PROCEDURE
To operate, plug the fan into a 13A power socket outlet and simply turn the rotary
switch to the desired speed setting.
1=LOW SPEED
2=MEDIUM SPEED
3=HIGH SPEED
To stop the fan ,turn the rotary switch back to the position marked O.
5- FAN DIRECTION ADJUSTMENT
a) Do not attempt to make any adjustments to the direction of the grille and fan
assembly until the fan has been turned off and unplugged from the socket.
b) To adjust the direction of the fan, hold the grille and gentle tilt the fan until the
desired position is reached.
c) Plug the fan back into the socket and turn the fan on.

6- CLEANING
a) Ensure that the fan is unplugged from the power socket before commencing
cleaning.
b) Parts should be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.
c) Stubborn marks should be removed with a mild soap (detergent) and a damp cloth.
Ensure that all traces of the soap film are removed with the damp cloth.
d) Care should be taken to ensure that water (or other liquid) does not enter the fan
motor housing or the speed control unit.
For all warranty claims please return to place of purchase. If unit is deemed to be
faulty it will be replaced during the 12 month warranty period.
