Features
Our Forever Flashlight Rip Cord combines
an LED flashlight, emergency siren and charging capability
into one handy unit.
Includes the new technology of a Rip Cord 3-Phase Motor. This feature easily generates more power for your Forever Flashlight Rip Cord than any other technology. This allows a longer operation with less pulling time.
Rechargeable batteries. This model does not need an external power source. Instead it can be recharged by spinning the built-in generator to recharge the internal battery for optimum charging.
Super-bright 5-LEDs visible for over a mile.
Super-bright green LED charging indicator.
Convenient pocket size, includes a sturdy wrist band.

AC/DC Outlet jack for speedy charging through an outlet.

How to Use
Charging the Forever Flashlight Rip Cord
Your Forever Flashlight Rip Cord includes two great options to charge your unit. For directions on each option see right:

Important. It is suggested that pulling the RIP CORD should not be allowed to go past the red color of the cord. This will damage the unit and not allow for maximum electricity.

Charging your unit using your built-in rechargeable batteries.
It is charged by pulling
the
RIP CORD on the unit.
Your
RIP CORD is located in
the rear of the flashlight under the
COVER
RUBBER BACK
. For best results, fol-
low these steps in charging:
1. Turn the unit off.

3. Hold the unit parallel
to the ground and pull the
RIP CORD. To achieve a par-
tial charge, pull the
CORD
approximately 80

times in one minute. Please note, keep the unit parallel and pull

Pull the

speed of approximately 80 times per minute. This will provide 20-30 minutes of flashlight light and one minute of cell phone time. The pulling force for the
CORD
must be constant and

of moderate speed.
It is recommended to charge your Forever Flashlight Rip Cord for three to five minutes either before the first time you use it or after a long period of non-use of your unit.
NOTES:
Important. It is sug-
gested that pulling the
CORD

• While pulling the
CORD
of the Forever Flashlight Rip Cord, an indicator light will be on. This will signify that the charging is in the process.

• If your unit is com­pletely drained of energy, you should pull the
CORD
again three to five

minutes. Keep in mind, that if the Forever Flashlight Rip Cord has not been uti­lized for a long length of time, it will cause the bat­tery life to be shorter than normal even after recharg­ing.
In this case, recharge the
battery by pulling the
CORD
for three to five min-

utes. This will allow the internal rechargeable bat­tery to reactivate and charge completely.
• While charging by using the
RIP CORD, remem-
ber to turn the unit off.
• If you utilize and pull the
RIP CORD slowly, the
batteries can not be charged
properly. The recommended pull speed would be 80 pulls per minute.
Charging your unit using an AC/DC adaptor.
Simply turn off your unit
and use your

located on the side of
DC INPUT
your unit, connect an AC/DC adaptor cord and then plug into an electrical outlet. Your built-in batter­ies will be fully charged within three hours. Do not leave plugged into an outlet for more than 24 hours. This will damage your internal rechargeable batter­ies.
Using the flashlight
Your Forever Flashlight
This energy saving light uses minimal power con­sumption. To use the flash­light, first, set the
SWITCH
to either LIGHT/OFF/
SIREN/BLINK. The choice
between and
LIGHT, OFF, SIREN,
BLINK, will adjust the
LIGHT
features of the flashlight.
The
LIGHT switch will
allow a super bright
5 LEDS
light to brighten your path.
The
SIREN switch will
allow a loud emergency siren signal. At the same time this will allow the
LED
light to BLINK. What a great feature for when you are in need of help.
To turn off the flashlight, switch the

Caution
• Forever Flashlight Rip Cord generates a strong magnetic field that surrounds it. Keep the unit at least one foot away from medical devices, computers, magnetic storage media, or other devices such as:

• Any device with a cathode ray
• Do NOT attempt to remove the Light Emitting Diode (LED) or any internal part.

Special Care & Handling
Always turn off the flashlight when charging.
Do not charge for more than 24 hours straight. This could damage the unit’s recharging system.
Avoid rough handling such as bumping or dropping.
Avoid extreme temperatures. For best results, use between the temperatures of 39º F and 100º F (4º C and 38º C).
Clean only using a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaners with chemical agents.
Do not expose your Forever Flashlight Rip Cord to direct sunlight or other heat source for any length of time.
Do not expose your Forever Flashlight Rip Cord to direct extreme cold, dusty or humid areas.
• Clean the lens with glass-cleaning products.
• Do not use petroleum distillates (such as gasoline or kerosene) or solvents such as acetone to clean any part of the Forever Flashlight Rip Cord.

EXCALIBUR ELECTRON­ICS, INC., warrants to the original consumer that its products are free from any electrical or mechanical defects for a period of 90 DAYS from the date of pur­chase. If any such defect is discovered within the war­ranty period, EXCALIBUR ELECTRONICS, INC., will repair or replace the unit free of charge upon receipt of the unit, shipped postage prepaid and insured to the factory address shown at right.
The warranty covers normal consumer use and does not cover damage that occurs in shipment or failure that results from alterations, acci­dent, misuse, abuse, neglect,
wear and tear, inadequate maintenance, commercial use, or unreasonable use of the unit. Removal of the top panel voids all warranties. This warranty does not cover cost of repairs made or attempted outside of the fac­tory.
Any applicable implied war­ranties, including warranties of merchantability and fit­ness, are hereby limited to 90 DAYS from the date of pur­chase. Consequential or inci­dental damages resulting from a breach of any applica­ble express or implied war­ranties are hereby excluded.
