There are three different methods to program your remote to all
of your devices: manual search
mode, quick search mode and auto
search mode.
MANUAL SEARCH MODE
To program your remote under
Manual Search Mode, first look up
the three-digit code for your device
in the “Device Codes” section of
this manual. There may be several
codes listed for your TV’s manufacturer.
If your device is not listed, try
searching under Quick Search
Mode or Auto Search Mode. Once
you’ve found your device in the

Installing Batteries
Your remote requires two AA
batteries, not included. Follow
the steps below to install the
batteries.
1. Place the seam side down
in the palm of your hand.
2. Squeeze the area marked
OPEN on both sides with your
thumb and middle fingers.
3. Pull the top portion off to
open the unit.
4. Push down on the arrow
and simultaneously slide open
the top of the battery compartment.
5. Insert the batteries match-
ing the polarity (+ and -) with
the diagram inside the battery
compartment.
6. Slide the lid back into its
place.
7. Close the two halves of the
football. You will hear a snap,
indicating the unit is locked
into place.
• Avoid rough handling such as bumping or
dropping.
• Avoid moisture and extreme temperatures.
For best results, use between the
temperatures of 39ºF and 100ºF
(4º C and 38º C).
• Clean using only a slightly damp cloth.
Do not use cleaners with chemical agents.
Battery Information
• Batteries should be installed and
replaced only by an adult.
• Your NFL Universal Remote
batteries, not included.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc)

or (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
