Hauses in dem Kaufland herausgegebenen
Garantiebedingungen, Einzelheiten gibt Ihnen der
Händler, bei dem Sie das Gerät gekauft haben, auf
Anfrage jederzeit mit. Zur Inanspruchnahme von
Garantieleistungen ist in jedem Fall aber die Vorlage
des Kaufbeleges erforderlich.
Warranty
The warranty conditions issued by the agent for
our company in the country of purchase apply to this
appliance. Information can be obtained at any time
from the retailer from whom the appliance was
purchased. Warranty claims must be supported by a
receipt as proof of purchase.

de garantie éditées par la représentation de notre
maison dans le pays d'achat. Le commerçant, chez

wie u het apparaat heeft gekocht, geeft u op verzoek

maken, moet u in ieder geval het aankoopbewijs
(kassabon) kunnen overleggen.

Die nachstehenden Ausführungen über Umfang der Garantie, Garantiefristen und die Anmeldung von Garantieansprüchen gelten ausschließlich für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
Glen Dimplex Deutschland räumt dem Käufer nach seiner Wahl zusätzlich zu den ihm gegen den Verkäufer ausstehenden gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüchen einen
Anspruch nach Maßgabe der nachfolgenden Garantieverpflichtung ein:
I. Dauer und Beginn der Garantie
1. Grundsätzlich wird für jedes im Haushalt eingesetzte Glen Dimplex Deutschland-Gerät 24 Monate Garantie gewährt.
2. Bei gewerblicher Nutzung der von der Bauart her für den Haushalt bestimmten Geräte beträgt die Garantiezeit lediglich sechs Monate.
3 Die Garantie ist mit dem Zeitpunkt der Übergabe des Gerätes wirksam.
4. Bewahren Sie die vom Verkäufer ausgefüllte Garantie-Urkunde mit der Rechnung, dem Lieferschein oder einem anderen Kaufnachweis auf.
5. Durch Garantieleistungen tritt keine Verlängerung der ursprünglichen Garantiezeit ein.
6. Garantieansprüche können nur geltend gemacht werden, wenn die Mängelrüge innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach Entdeckung des Mangels schriftlich bei uns eingeht.
II. Inhalt und Unfang der Garantie
1. Ihr Glen Dimplex Deutschland-Gerät wird sorgfältig geprüft. Für den Fall, daß der Garantieanspruch zu Recht besteht, entscheiden wir, auf welche Art der Schaden
behoben werden soll / wird. Im Reparaturfall sorgen wir für eine fachgerechte Ausführung.
2. Bei der Einsendung zur Reparatur sind Garantie-Urkunde und Kaufnachweis beizufügen.
3. Innerhalb der ersten sechs Monate erbringen wir die Garantieleistungen ohne Berechnung von Nebenkosten (Fahrt- und Wegzeitkosten, Fracht- und
Verpackungskosten).
4. Darüber hinausgehende Ansprüche, insbesondere Schadenersatzansprüche, sind ausgeschlossen, soweit eine Haftung nicht gesetzlich angeordnet ist.
III. Einschränkungen der Garantie
1. Eine Garantie besteht nicht bei Fehlern oder Mängeln, die auf folgendes zurückzuführen sind:
a) Reparaturen und Abänderungen, die von nicht autorisierter dritter Stelle vorgenommen werden oder wurden;
b) äußere Einwirkungen, zum Beispiel Transportschäden, Beschädigungen durch Stoß oder Schlag, Schäden durch Witterungseinflüsse oder sonstige
Naturerscheinungen;
c) unsachgemäße / fehlerhafte Bedienung oder Beanspruchung;
d) Verwendung von ungeeigneten Reinigungsmitteln, Chemikalien usw.
2. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf leicht zerbrechliche Teile, zum Beispiel Glas, Kunststoff, Glühlampen.
3. Geringfügige Änderungen gegenüber Prospekten oder Mustern oder früher gelieferter Ware gelten nicht als Mangel. Gleiches gilt bei lediglich geringfügigen
Abweichungen von der Sollbeschaffenheit, die für Wert- und Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes unerheblich ist.
4. Im Ausland gelten die von unserer jeweils zuständigen Landesvertretung herausgegebenen Garantiebedingungen.

Sehr geehrter Kunde,
bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Hinweise vor
Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch. Sie geben wichtige Informationen für Ihre Sicherheit und den Gebrauch
des Gerätes.
Achtung! Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den normalen Hausgebrauch und nicht für den gewerblichen
Einsatz vorgesehen.
SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
• Das Gerät darf nur, wie in der Bedienungs-
anleitung beschrieben, verwendet werden! Jeder
andere Gebrauch ist unzulässig! Bei Schäden
durch falsche Bedienung, falschen Gebrauch
oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitsvorschriften
erlischt jegliche Haftung und Garantie!
• Geräte nur an Wechselstrom – mit Spannung gemäß
Typenschild – anschließen.
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose an. Dies
gilt auch, wenn Sie das Gerät im Freien verwenden.
Der Einbau einer Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung mit
einem Nennauslösestrom von max. 30 mA bietet
zusätzlichen Schutz. Wenden Sie sich an einen
Elektroinstallateur.
• Gerät ist nicht geeignet zum Anschluß an festverlegte Leitungen!
• Gerät niemals in Betrieb nehmen, wenn Gerät oder
Zuleitung beschädigt sind. Verletzungsgefahr!
• Weist das Netzkabel Schadstellen auf, oder wird
das Gerät so stark beschädigt, daß Teile freiliegen,
sofort vom Netz trennen und an Ihr Fachgeschäft
oder den Zentralkundendienst wenden.
• Die Steckdose muß jederzeit zugänglich sein, um
ein schnelles Entfernen des Netzsteckers zu ermöglichen.
• Achtung! Grillrost, Gehäuse und Heizelement werden während des Gebrauchs sehr heiß. Stellen Sie
deshalb das Gerät so auf, daß zufälliges Berühren
ausgeschlossen ist. Nach dem Abschalten kühlt das
Gerät erst allmählich ab.
• Lassen Sie den Grill erst abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn
tragen und wegstellen. Stolpergefahr,
Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Achtung! Der Elektrogrill darf niemals mit Holzkohle
oder ähnlichen Brennstoffen betrieben werden.
• Unter keinen Umständen Kunststoffteile oder andere
Gegenstände außer dem Grillgut auf den Rost
legen.
• Geben Sie auf Fettspritzer während des Grillens von
fettigem Fleisch acht. Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Decken Sie zur Vermeidung einer Beschädigung des
Gerätes den Grillrost nie vollständig ab, z.B. mit
Aluminiumfolie, Pfannen oder Grillgeschirr, da sonst
die Wärme nicht abgeführt werden kann. Überhit-
zungsgefahr!
• Gießen Sie niemals Wasser auf das Heizelement!
• Kein Kunststoffbesteck zum Wenden und
Entnehmen des Grillguts benutzen.
• Keine leicht entflammbaren Stoffe oder Sprays in
der Nähe des in Betrieb befindlichen Gerätes aufbewahren oder benutzen. Brandgefahr!
• Das Gerät nicht in leicht entzündbarer Atmosphäre (z.B.
in der Nähe brennbarer Gase oder Spraydosen benutzen. Explosions- und Brandgefahr!
• Das Gerät darf nicht unter einer in Betrieb befindlichen Dunstabzugshaube und unter
Hängeschränken betrieben werden.
• Vom Gebrauch von Zubehörteilen, die vom
Hersteller weder empfohlen noch verkauft werden,
ist aus Sicherheitsgründen abzusehen.
• Kindern und Personen unter Medikamenten- oder
Alkoholeinfluß ist die Benutzung nur unter Aufsicht
zu gestatten. Achten Sie darauf, daß Kinder keine
Gelegenheit haben, mit elektrischen Geräten zu
spielen!
• Die Gebrauchsanweisung gehört zum Gerät und ist
sorgfältig aufzubewahren. Bei Besitzerwechsel ist
die Anleitung mit auszuhändigen.
VERP
ACKUNG
• Nach dem Auspacken das Gerät auf Transportschäden und den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit prüfen! Bei Schäden oder unvollständiger Lieferung bitte an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder
den Zentralkundendienst wenden!
• Originalkarton nicht wegwerfen! Wird zum
Aufbewahren und beim Versenden, um
Transportschäden zu vermeiden, benötigt.
• Verpackungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß entsorgen.
Plastikbeutel können zu einem lebensgefährlichen
Spielzeug für Kinder werden.
ST
ANDORT
• Ihr Elektrogrill ist für den Gebrauch im Haus und im
Freien geeignet und überall einsetzbar, wo ein
Stromanschluß vorhanden ist. Ist das Gerät nicht in
Betrieb, bewahren Sie es stets im Haus auf.
• Das Gerät darf nicht in Räumen mit Badewanne,
Dusche oder Schwimmbecken sowie in der Nähe
von Waschbecken benutzt werden. Setzen Sie es
weder Regen noch anderer Feuchtigkeit aus.
• Stellen sie Ihren Grill fest und sicher auf. Achten Sie
auf stabilen Untergrund. Lassen Sie rund um das
Gerät genügend freien Raum (min. 70 cm). Der Grill
muß absolut sicher stehen, da beim Umfallen
Verbrennungsgefahr besteht!
• Fett und Grillgut können spritzen und tropfen.
Stellen Sie den Grill deshalb nicht direkt auf empfindliche Oberflächen wie z. B. polierte Tischplatten,
Parkett oder Teppichboden.
• Käfigvögel können, da sie über ein besonderes
Atemsystem verfügen, in seltenen Fällen auf die,
aus dem verbrannten Fett, entstehenden Dämpfe
allergisch sein. Vermeiden Sie deshalb Vogelkäfige
im gleichen Raum, in dem Sie Grillen wollen, aufzustellen.
NETZKABEL
• Stellen Sie sicher, daß niemand über das Netzkabel
stolpern und so das Gerät umwerfen kann.
• Verwenden Sie nur - der Leistungsaufnahme des
Gerätes entsprechende - 3-polige approbierte
Verlängerungskabel.
• Netzkabel darf nicht mit heißen Geräteteilen in
Berührung kommen!
• Stecker niemals am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen! Gerät niemals durch Ziehen am Kabel bewegen
oder Kabel zum Tragen des Gerätes benutzen!
• Kabel nicht um das Gerät wickeln! Gerät nicht mit
aufgewickeltem Kabel betreiben! Dies gilt besonders
bei Verwendung einer Kabeltrommel.
• Kabel nicht einklemmen, nicht über scharfe Kanten
ziehen, nicht über heiße Herdplatten oder offene
Flamme legen!
HINWEISE ZUM BETRIEB
• Zur Inbetriebnahme den Stecker in die Steckdose
stecken. Der Grill heizt jetzt automatisch bis zur vorgewählten Temperatur.
• Achten Sie darauf, daß stets Wasser in der Wanne
ist. Dies vermindert die Rauchbildung und verhindert die Überhitzung des Gerätes. Füllen Sie es
während des Betriebes regelmäßig nach.
Das Gerät darf nie ohne Wasser betrieben werden (Überhitzungsgefahr!).
Gießen Sie niemals Wasser auf das Heizelement
oder Bedienteil!
• Heizen Sie den mit Wasser gefüllten Grill vor dem
ersten Gebrauch ohne Grillgut ca. 5 Minuten auf,
damit der Eigengeruch abklingt (leichte
Rauchentwicklung möglich, daher für ausreichende
Belüftung sorgen). Waschen Sie den Grillrost in
heißem Spülwasser ab.
• Vor dem Grillen sollten Sie den Grillrost dünn mit Öl
einstreichen, so läßt sich das Grillgut zum Wenden
besser abheben.
Bevor Sie das Grillgut auf den Rost legen, heizen Sie
das Gerät ca. 5-10 Min. bei voller Leistung vor. Das
Grillgut sollte vor dem Grillen vollständig aufgetaut
sein.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät immer unter Einsatz der
beiliegenden Reflektorwanne.
Thermostat
• Durch den stufenlos verstellbaren Thermostatregler
kann die gewünschte Grilltemperatur von „min.“ bis
„max.“ eingestellt werden und wird dann automatisch konstant gehalten.
Kontr
ollampe
• Sobald das Gerät an das Netz angeschlossen wird,
leuchtet die Kontrollampe.
Überhitzungsschutz
• Der eingebaute Überhitzungsschutz schaltet das
Gerät bei einer Störung oder Überhitzung automatisch ab (prüfen Sie ob Wasser in der Schale ist).
Das Bedienteil sollte keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt werden.
Sollte es zu einer Wiederholung kommen, setzen Sie
sich bitte mit Ihrem Fachgeschäft oder dem Zentralkundendienst in Verbindung.

Störung: Kontroll-Lampe brennt nicht.
Mögliche Ursachen:
a) Bedienteil ist nicht richtig in das Gehäuse eingesetzt
b) Der eingebaute Überhitzungsschutz hat das Gerät
aufgrund einer Störung oder Überhitzung automatisch abgeschaltet.
Abhilfe:
a) Prüfen Sie, ob das Bedienteil richtig in das Gehäuse
eingesetzt wurde.
b) siehe Kapitel „Überhitzungsschutz“.
REINIGUNG
• Zur Reinigung ziehen Sie erst den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose. Nach dem Abkühlen des Gerätes
entnehmen Sie das Bedienteil mit dem Heizelement.
• Nun können Sie die Wasserwanne, den Grillrost und
das Gehäuse mit warmem Spülwasser säubern. Um
Kratzer zu vermeiden, verwenden Sie niemals
Metallschwämme sowie scheuernde und ätzende
Reinigungsmittel. Der Grillrost kann mit einer weichen Bürste gereinigt werden. TIP: Nach dem
Grillen den Rost mit nassen Haushaltstüchern
bedecken und ca. 30–60 Min. „einweichen“ lassen.
• Achtung! Tauchen Sie das Bedienteil, das Netzkabel und das Heizelement niemals in Wasser. Diese
Teile nur mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
• Um einen störungsfreien Betrieb zu gewährleisten,
beseitigen Sie Kalkrückstände in der Wasserschale.
• Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen,
sollten Sie es vor übermäßigem Staub und Schmutz
schützen.

• Ausgediente Geräte zur ordnungsgemäßen
Entsorgung an einer öffentlichen Sammelstelle
abgeben oder an den Hersteller zurücksenden!

Dear Customer,
Please read the following information carefully before using
the appliance.
This is important for your own personnel safety and proper
use of the appliance.
Attention! The appliance may only be used for normal
domestic use nad not for industrial purposes.
SAFETY INFORMA
TION
• The appliance must only be used as described in the
instructions for use. Use for any other purpose is inadmissible! Any damage attributed to incorrect operation, improper
use or non-observance of the safety information will invalidate all liability and the warranty!
• Only connect the appliance to the mains voltage specified
on the type plate.
• Only connect the appliance to a properly installed socket-outlet with earthing contact. This applies similarly to
outdoor use of the appliance. The installation of a residual-current-operated protective device with a rated tripping current of maximum 30mA will offer additional protection and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
• The appliance is unsuitable for connection to permanent
wiring!
• Never use the appliance if the appliance or power cord is
damaged. Risk of injury!
• If the Power cord is damaged or if the appliance is damaged to the extent that electrical parts are exposed,
immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains
and contact your retailer.
• The socket-outlet must be accessible at all times to
enable the mains plug to be disconnected as quickly as
possible!
• Important! The grill rack, housing and heating element
become very hot during use. Position the appliance so that
any accidental contact is impossible. After switching off the
appliance, it will cool down gradually.
• Allow the grill to cool down before carrying and storing it.
Risk of tripping, risk of burns!
• Important! The electric grill must never be operated with
charcoal or similar fuels.
• Under no circumstances must plastic articles or other
objects be placed on the shelf except for the food to be
grilled.
• Beware of spitting grease when grilling fatty meat. Risk
of burns!
• To prevent damage to the appliance, never fully cover the
grill rack, tray or grill attachments with foil, as this will prevent the heat escaping. Risk of overheating!
• Never pour water on the heating element!
• Do not use plastic cutlery to turn and remove food.
• Do not store or use any flammable materials or sprays in
the vicinity of the appliance when the appliance is in use.
Fire hazard!
• Do not use the appliance in flammable atmospheres (e.g.
in the vicinity of combustible gases or spray cans).
Explosion and fire hazard!
• The appliance should not be placed under operating
extractor hoods or hanging cupboards.
• The use of accessories that are not recommended or
sold by the manufacturer must be avoided for safety reasons.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children
or infirm persons without supervision! Young children
must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance!
• These instructions for use belong to the appliance and must be
kept in a safe place. When changing owners, these instructions must be surrendered to the new owner!

ACKAGING
• After unpacking the appliance, check the same for transport damage and the contents for completeness! In the
event of damage or an incomplete delivery, contact your
authorised retailer!
• Do not discard the original box! It can be used for storage and dispatch to avoid transport damage!
• Dispose of the packaging material in a proper manner!
Plastic bags should be kept away from children!
LOCA
TION
• Your electric grill is suitable for both indoor and outdoor
use, where a power socket is available. The appliance
should be stored indoors when not in use.
• Do not use the appliance in rooms with a bath, shower or
swimming pool or in the vicinity of wash basins. It
should not be exposed to rain or other moisture.
• Place the grill on a firm and stable surface to avoid accidents and the risk of burns. Leave sufficient space
around the appliance (minimum 70 cm).
• Fat and food can spit and drip while cooking. For this
reason, do not place the grill directly on sensitive surfaces, e.g. polished tabletops, parquet or carpets.
• Birds in cages, with their special respiratory system, may
be allergic to the fumes from burnt fat in rare cases. It is
therefore advised not to place birdcages in the same
room in which food is to be grilled.
Electrical Installation
• Connect the appliance only to single phase AC supply
of the voltage specified on the rating plate.
• The appliance complies with EEC regulations EN55014
concerning radio and T.V interference.

• The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code.
• Blue - NEUTRAL Brown - LIVE.
• Green/Yellow - EARTH.
• If your appliance is fitted with a non-rewireable mains
plug which is not suitable for the socket outlets in your
home, the plug must be cut off and an appropriate one
fitted.
NOTE:
• A plug cut off from a flexible cord will give a shock hazard if inserted in a 13 amp socket elsewhere in the
house. To avoid this, it should be disposed of immediately.
• If you are fitting an alternative type of plug then the
colours of the wires in the mains lead of the appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals on your plug. In this case proceed as
follows:
• The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to
the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured
BLACK.
• The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected
to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or
coloured RED.
• The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must
be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter “E”, or by the earth Symbol or
coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW.
NOTE:
• If a 13 amp (BS 1363) plug is used a 13 amp (BS 1362)
fuse must be fitted either in the plug, adaptor or at the
fuse board.
NOTE:
• The fuse cover of a non-rewireable plug must be refitted when
changing the fuse. Should the fuse cover become lost, the plug
must not be used until the correct replacement fuse cover is
obtained from our service department or stockist.
POWER CORD
• Position the power cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard and possibly cause the appliance to be
knocked over.
• Only use three-core approved extension cable that is
suitable for the appliance rating.
• The power cord must not come into contact with hot
appliance parts!
• Never pull the plug out of the socket at the cord! Never
move the appliance by pulling at the cord or use the
cord for carrying purposes!
• Do not coil the cord around the appliance! Do not use
the appliance with the cord coiled! This applies in particular when using a cable drum.
• Do not crush the cord or drag it over sharp edges or
place it over heated hotplates or naked flames!
NOTES ON USE
• To use the grill, insert the plug in the socket. The grill will
now heat automatically to the preselected temperature.
• Ensure that the tray is always filled with water. This
reduces the formation of smoke and prevents the appliance overheating. Regularly top up the water in the tray
during use.
The appliance must never be used without water (risk
of overheating!).
Never pour water on the heating element or control part!
• Heat the grill filled with water before using for the first time
without food for about five minutes to remove the natural
smell of the appliance (as the appliance may give off some
smoke, the room in which the appliance is used should be
well ventilated). Wash the grill rack with hot water.
• Before grilling, it is recommended to thinly coat the grill rack
with oil. This will make it easier to lift the food for turning.
Before placing food on the rack, heat the appliance for
about 5-10 minutes at maximum power. Food should be
defrosted completely before grilling.
• Only use the appliance with the supplied water reflector.
Thermostat
• The required grilling temperature can be set from “min.” to
“max.” with the infinitely variable thermostatic control; this
temperature is automatically maintained.
Pilot light
• The pilot light illuminates when the appliance is connected to the mains.
Overheat pr
otection
• The built-in overheat protection automatically switches off
the appliance in the event of a fault or overheating (check
that there is water in the tray). In this case, the plug must
be disconnected from the socket! The control part should
not be exposed to direct sunlight. If the fault should reoccur, contact your retailer!

oubleshooting:
Fault: Indicator light does not burn.
Possible causes:
a) Control panel is not fitted correctly in the housing.
b) The fitted thermal cut-out has automatically switched off
the grill due to a fault of overheating.
Remedy:
a) Check that the control panel is correctly fitted in the
housing
b) See chapter "Thermal cut-out”
CLEANING
• Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug from the
socket. When the appliance has cooled down, remove the
control part with the heating element.
• The water tray, grill rack and housing can be cleaned with
warm water. To prevent scratches, the use of metal
sponges as well as abrasive and caustic cleaning agents
should be avoided. The grill rack can be cleaned with a
soft brush. TIP: After grilling, cover the rack with wet
household cloths and allow to "soak” for about 30-60
minutes.
• Important! Never immerse the control part, power cord
and heating element in water. These parts can be
cleaned with a moist cloth.
• To ensure trouble-free operation, remove limescale
residues in the water tray.
• If the appliance is not used for extended periods, it should
be protected from excessive dust and dirt.
DISPOSAL
• Old appliances must be disposed of in a proper manner!

• All repairs must be referred to authorised personnel!
Refer all repairs to an authorised retailer! Important! Any
tampering with the appliance will invalidate the warranty.

PRESCRIPTIONS DE SECURITE:
• L'appareil ne peut être utilisé que conformé-
ment au mode d'emploi! Tout autre usage est

non-respect des prescriptions de sécurité!
• Ne brancher les appareils que sur de la tension
alternative conformément à la plaquette signalétique!
• Ne brancher l'appareil que sur une prise de courant de sécurité installée selon les prescriptions.

• Le montage d'un dispositif de protection à courant

• Attention! La grille, le boîtier et l'élément de
chauffage deviennent très chauds pendant l'utilisation. C'est pourquoi, installer l'appareil de telle
sorte que tout contact involontaire soit exclu.
L'appareil refroidit peu à peu après l'avoir éteint.
• Laissez le gril refroidir avant de le porter ou de le
ranger.
• Danger de trébucher, danger de brûlure!
• Attention! Le gril électrique ne doit jamais être
exploité avec du charbon de bois ou un combustible similaire.
• Ne jamais poser sur la grille des pièces en plastique
ou des objets autres que les produits à griller.
• Faites attention aux projections de graisse provenant de la viande pendant le grillage, danger
de brûlure!
• Afin d'éviter un endommagement de l'appareil,
ne recouvrez jamais complètement la grille, par
exemple avec une feuille d'aluminium, une poêle
ou une pièce de vaisselle car, sinon, la chaleur ne
peut pas être évacuée. Danger de surchauffe!
• Ne versez jamais d'eau sur l'élément de chauffage!
• Ne pas utiliser de couverts en plastique pour
retourner et retirer les produits à griller.
• Ne pas conserver ni utiliser de matières ou sprays
facilement inflammables à proximité de l'appareil!
Danger d'incendie !
• Ne pas utiliser l'appareil dans une atmosphère
facilement inflammable (par ex. à proximité de gaz
inflammables ou de bombes! Danger d'explosion
et d'incendie!
• L'appareil ne doit pas être utilisé sous une hotte aspirante en exploitation et sous des éléments de cuisine.
• Pour des raisons de sécurité, ne pas utiliser
d'accessoires qui ne sont ni recommandés ni
vendus par le fabricant.
• Les enfants et les personnes sous influence de
médicaments ou d'alcool ne peuvent utiliser
l'appareil que sous surveillance: Veillez à ce que
les enfants n'aient pas l'occasion de jouer avec les

• Le mode d'emploi fait partie de l'appareil et doit

Emballage:
• Après le déballage, vérifier si l'appareil n'a pas

Lieu d'installation:
• Votre gril électrique peut être utilisé à la maison
ou dehors et partout où il y a du courant.
Lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé, conservez le
toujours à la maison.
• Ne pas utiliser l'appareil dans des locaux avec
une baignoire, une douche ou des bassins de
natation ainsi qu'à proximité de lavabos. Ne lui
faites pas subir la pluie ni l'humidité.
• Installer votre gril solidement et fiablement.
Veillez à un support stable. Laissez un périmètre
libre (min. 70 cm) tout autour de l'appareil. Le gril
doit être impérativement solidement posé car il y
a danger de brûlure en cas de chute!
• La graisse et les produits à griller peuvent asperger ou goutter. C'est pourquoi, n'installer pas le
gril sur des surfaces sensibles comme des dessus de table polis, parquet ou moquette.
• Disposant d'un système respiratoire particulier,
les oiseaux en cage sont, dans des cas très
rares, allergiques aux vapeurs émanant de graisse
brûlée. Evitez donc d'installer des cages à
oiseaux dans la même pièce où vous grillez.
Câble réseau:
• Posez le câble de telle sorte que personne ne
puisse trébucher et renverser l'appareil.
• N'utilisez que des rallonges 3 pôles agréées et
correspondant à la puissance absorbée de
l'appareil.
• Le câble réseau ne doit pas entrer en contact
avec des parties brûlantes de l'appareil!
• Ne jamais tirer la fiche de la prise par le câble!
Ne jamais déplacer l'appareil en tirant sur le
câble et ne jamais utiliser le câble pour porter
l'appareil!
• Ne pas enrouler l'appareil avec le câble! Ne pas
exploiter l'appareil avec le câble enroulé! Cela
vaut en particulier en cas d'utilisation d'un tambour de câble.
• Ne pas coincer le câble, ne pas le tirer sur des
bords coupants, ne pas le poser au-dessus de
plaques de cuisinière ou de flammes ouvertes!
CONSIGNES CONCERNANT L'EXPLOIT
ATION
• Pour la mise en service, mettre la fiche dans la
prise de courant. Le gril chauffe maintenant automatiquement jusqu'à la température présélectionnée.
• Veillez à ce qu'il y ait toujours de l'eau dans le
bac. Cela diminue la formation de fumées et
empêche une surchauffe de l'appareil.
Remplissez-le régulièrement pendant l'exploitation.
L'appareil ne doit pas être exploité sans eau
(danger de surchauffe!)
Ne verser jamais d'eau sur l'élément de chauffage ou la partie de commande!
• Avant la première utilisation, chauffez env.
5 minutes le gril rempli d'eau, sans produits à
griller, afin que l'odeur propre à l'appareil disparaisse (légères fumées possibles, assurer donc
une aération suffisante). Lavez la grille dans de
l'eau chaude.
• Enduisez la grille d'un peu d'huile avant de griller,
les produits à griller se laissent ainsi plus facilement retourner.
• Avant de mettre les produits à griller sur la grille,
chauffez l'appareil env. 5-10 min. à pleine puissance. Les produits à griller doivent être entièrement décongelés avant de les griller.
• Utilisez toujours l'appareil avec le bac réflecteur
ci-joint.
Thermostat
• Le thermostat réglable en continu permet de régler la température désirée du gril de »min.« jusqu'à »max.« et de la maintenir constante.

oyant de contrôle
• Dès que l'appareil est branché sur le réseau, le
voyant de contrôle s'allume.
Pr
otection antisurchauffe:
• La protection antisurchauffe intégrée met l'appareil automatiquement hors circuit en cas de
perturbation ou de surchauffe (vérifiez s'il y a de
l'eau dans le bas). La partie commande ne doit
pas être soumise au rayonnement direct du soleil.
• Si cela devait se répéter, veuillez-vous adresser à
votre commerçant spécialisé.
Aide en cas de perturbations
Perturbation: voyant de contrôle ne s'allume pas.
Causes possibles:
a) Pièce de commande n'est pas mise correctement
dans le boîtier
b) La protection de surchauffe a coupé automa-
tiquement l'appareil en raison d'une perturbation
ou d'une surchauffe.
Remède:
a) Contrôler si la pièce de commande a été mise
correctement dans le boîtier.
b) Voir chapitre "Protection de surchauffe".
Nettoyage:
• Retirer la fiche de la prise de courant pour le nettoyage. Après le refroidissement de l'appareil,
retirez la partie commande et l'élément de chauffage.
• Maintenant, vous pouvez nettoyer le bac à eau,
la grille et le boîtier avec de l'eau chaude. Afin
d'éviter des rayures, n'utilisez jamais d'éponges
métalliques ni de détergents à récurer et corrosifs. La grille peut être nettoyée avec une brosse
souple. Conseil: après avoir grillé, couvrir la grille
avec des torchons mouillés et laisser »ramollir«
pendant env. 30 à 60 min.
• Attention! Ne plonger jamais la partie commande, le câble réseau et l'élément de chauffage
dans l'eau. Ces pièces doivent être essuyées
avec un chiffon humide.
• Afin d'assurer une exploitation sans perturbation,
éliminez les résidus de calcaire dans le bas à
eau.
• Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une
période prolongée, vous devez le protéger contre
la poussière et la saleté.

• Eliminer en bonne et due forme les appareils
usagés!
Service clientèle:
• Les réparations et interventions dans l'appareil ne
sont permises que par du personnel spécialisé
agréé! Adressez-vous à un commerçant spécialisé! Attention! Les interventions non conformes
