Clamp Mounting Method (flip over for Through-Hole Mounting Method)
CAUTION
- Make sure the desk surface is stable before mounting your monitor arm.
- The gas spring arm may suddenly move upward when the monitor is removed.
- Always adjust the gas spring arm to the lowest force setting before monitor removal.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE OR SERVICE THE GAS SPRING ARM.
Place the monitor face down on a flat, soft surface. Remove monitor’s built-in stand. Attach the Monitor Mount (D) to the back of the monitor using a Phillips screwdriver and the M4 screws provided (H). There are two screw lengths provided for your convenience. Use the longest screw that will fully tighten the Monitor Mount (D) to the monitor. The Monitor Mount (D) is designed to fit the industry standard VESA 75mm & 100mm hole patterns.
Insert two Wire Clips (part G) into the underside of the Gas Spring Arm (part B). Snap one Wire Clip (part F) on the lower rung of the Extension Arm (part C). Run the monitor cables through the Wire Clips (parts F & G). Make sure the cables are not pulled tight. There should be some sag in the cables to allow the arm to move freely without restriction.
Adhere the Base Cushion (E) to underside of the Riser (A).
Insert the Clamp Washer (J) on top of the Clamp Screw (pre-installed in the Riser) and tighten to desktop in the desired location using the M6.3 Hex Key (I) provided to tighten the Clamp Screw.
If the monitor lifts or drops, adjust the pressure of the Gas Spring Arm (B) using the Tension screw in the lower section of the Gas Spring Arm (B). The screw is used to adjust the weight capacity of the arm. Turn the screw with the M6 Hex Key (I) to increase or decrease the weight capacity.
The Monitor Mount (D) may be tilted up/down once the monitor is installed.
Insert the Gas Spring Arm (B) into the Riser (A). Insert the Extension Arm (C) into the Gas Spring Arm (B). Insert the Monitor Mount (D) with the monitor attached, into the Extension Arm (C). Once the monitor arm is assembled, lightly tighten the small screws at each joint to prevent the arm from lifting apart. Use the M2.5 Hex Key (I) provided.
Do not over tighten the screws.
NOTE: Extension Arm (C) may be excluded if desired.
