Please read this manual first for correct installation and operation. This manual should be retained
for future reference. The information in this manual was current when published. The

PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not have camera immersed in water.

2. Do not disassemble it or place it on an unstable base.

3. Do not touch the surface of CCD sensor by hand directly.

4. Never face the camera toward the sun.

5. Use proper power source otherwise the camera will not function correctly.

6. Use the camera at temperatures within 0℃ ~ 50℃/32℉~122℉ and humidity between 20%~
80%. The input power sources is 12VDC only.

PREFACE

ESD200 is a smoke detectors built with color CCD cameras for discreet surveillance. It comes
with color CCD camera that delivers clear and sharp picture for side viewing; and it is easy to
change different lenses to adopt the best view angles for security need. ESD200 can
simultaneously install up to 4 cameras, which is most economic and effective for video
surveillance.

INSTALLATION

n The horizontal view angle of the Smoke Detector Camera is 78-degree. Decide the location

to install the camera.

o Inspect the package contents to make sure that no damage occurred during shipping.

Z Plug in the attached video and power cable to the camera connector.

[ Connect the video output of the camera to a color monitor or other video device through a 75

ohm type coaxial cable with BNC female connector at cable extension.

\ Connect the 12VDC regulated power source of the camera to the 12VDC Power-in jack with

2 mm, center+, outer-plug.

] Adjust the direction of the lens as per needed.

Y Fix the camera by the screw. Tear off the black paper of the corresponding view window

where the lens faces to.

Z Repeat steps 3 to 6 in the Installation Instructions.
