SAFETY WARNING

Handle the camera with care. Do not expose the camera to
shock or vibration. Install the camera on a solid ground.

Install the camera away from electromagnetic elds

(transformers, electrical motors, TV, audio speakers etc.), as the

magnetic elds may distort the video image.

Install the camera only in surroundings within the specied

ambient temperature.
The maximum ambient temperature range for this camera is

-20°C ~ +50°C.
The recommended temperature range is 0°C ~ +40°C. Avoid
severe changes in temperature to prevent condensation.

Never face the camera’s CCD chip toward the sun or similar
powerful light sources.

Operate the camera only with stabilized power supply 12 VDC
+/- 0,5V /600 mA (or above).

The camera may be opened by authorized service personnel
only.

1.1 PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The EQ2250 is a high resolution color camera equipped with a
22x auto-focus zoom lens and 10 x optical zoom.
Many advanced features allow utilizing the EQ2250 in a wide
range of CCTV - applications.

2.1 POWER

Connect a stabilized 12 VDC power supply (500mA or higher)
to the power terminal.

2.2 VIDEO

Connect the video output (BNC) with 75 Ohm video coax cable
with DVR, monitor or other equipment with video input. Please
take care for correct 75 Ohm termination.

2.3 REMOTE CONTROL

The EQ2250 camera provides an input for RS-485 control with
Pelco-D/P protocol.
Further on the lens can be controlled by control devices with 5
VDC voltage (PTZ-receiver, control keyboards with DC output).
The day / Night mode can be switched by an external contact.

2.3.1 RS-485

Connect the RS-485 input with twisted pair cable to the control
device.
For details of RS-485 wiring please consult the related chapters
in user manuals of EverFocus DVRs or control keyboards.
The RS-485 parameter (baud rate / address) need to be

adjusted in the OSD menu SPECIAL.
