GETTING STARTED
1. Carefully remove the parts of the heater from the plastic bag and the carton, and unscrew the securing nut. Place
the base section on the bottom of the unit & screw on with the securing nut. Unwind the cord to its full length.
2. Place the heater onto a stable, flat and dry surface.
3. Turn the heater off (“O” on the power switch - see diagram above). Plug the cord set into a 220-240V A.C. 50Hz
electrical outlet. Turn the power on at the electrical outlet.
4. Turn the heater on (“-“ on the power switch – see diagram above). Two auditable ‘beeps’ will be heard to
indicate that power is now connected to the heater and that it is ready for operation. The display will light up
indicating the room temperature. Refer to the operating instructions section further in this manual for the full
operation of your heater.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
All functions that can be performed from the main unit are repeated on the remote control. Whenever a button is
depressed on the heater or remote control, an auditable ‘beep’ is sounded. This confirms that a button has been
pressed, not that the operation has changed.
When in normal operation, the display will show the room temperature (9ºC - 39 ºC), if it is below this range, the
display will show “Lo”, or above the range, it will show “Hi”.
HEATER ON/OFF BUTTON
Press the button to start the heater. The heater will start operating at “low”. To turn the heater off, press the
button again. NOTE: When the heater is turned off, the fan will run for a short period of time to cool the fan down.
OUTPUT HIGH/LOW BUTTON
The output high/low button works only when the heater is in manual mode. The heater starts running at low (the
low indicator light is lit). Pressing the button once will change the output to high (the low indicator turns off & the
high indicator is lit). Note: the change is to the heating elements and the fan speed stays the same.
OSCILLATION BUTTON
To start the heater oscillating, press the oscillation button. To halt the oscillation in the position it is currently in,
press the button again.

SET BUTTON
The heater can be set to run for up to 12 hours (in 1 hour increments) and then turn off. To use the timer function,
press the SET button on the heater. The display will change from the room temperature to a flashing number (the
length in time in hours). Pressing the “+” and “-“ buttons will adjust the length of time the heater will run for. To
confirm the time, stop pressing the buttons and the display will stop flashing and return to the room temperature.
After running for the set time, the heater will turn off as normal.
To cancel the function, press the heater on/off button.
The maximum room temperature is set by pressing the SET button twice. The display shows a flashing temperature,
which is adjusted by pressing the “+” and “-“ buttons. The temperature range is 15ºC to 35º. To confirm the
maximum room temperature, stop pressing the buttons and the display will stop flashing and return to the room
temperature. The heater will run until the required temperature is reached (both the low and high indicators are off),
at which point the elements will turn off but the fan will continue to work. When the room temperature drops, the
elements will turn on again.
To exit this automatic mode, press the heater on/off button.
NOTE: The maximum room temperature set also effects the operation in manual mode; if the room temperature is
greater than the set maximum room temperature, the heater will not work.
REMOTE CONTROL
All functions that can be performed from the main unit are repeated on the remote control. Please note that:
Output high/low = “heater”
SET = “shift”
Oscillation = “scanning”
The remote control requires 1 CR2032 battery which is inserted into the bottom of the control. To use the remote
control, point at the front of the heater and push the appropriate buttons.

To reset your heater:
1. Unplug the heater and wait between 5-10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
2. Then, turn on the unit again and operate normally.
