Quick Installation Guide
Before you begin
○ The initial configuration can be accomplished over WiFi or via Ethernet.
○ Unplug all WiFi extenders in your home. You will need to re-enroll them with IQrouter once
done with the configuration.

First – Connect the hardware
1 - Disconnect any third-party routers from the ISP-supplied modem. Leave the modem on
and in place. If the ISP-supplied modem includes WiFi, turn off the WiFi and unplug any LAN cables.
2 - Screw the antennas onto the IQrouter. Make sure they are on tightly.

3 - Connect the ethernet cable coming from the
modem to the internet (blue) port of the IQrouter.
4 - Connect the power
adapter to the IQrouter.
5 - Be sure the modem is on before turning on
the IQrouter. Turn on the IQrouter.

6 - Wait a few minutes for the LEDs to light up,
and check them to make sure the hardware
connection is correct.
Next – Configure the IQrouter
1 - Connect the IQrouter to a computer
with an ethernet cable, or via WiFi.
If connecting by WiFi, the SSID is
changeme and the password is
changeme. Note: this WiFi will only
exist during setup; you will be required to
change it.

2 - On your computer open a browser window
(Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc) and
type this address:
iqrouter.menu
(Note: if that doesn’t work, type 192.168.0.1)
