Installation
-
Clean the door on which the detector will be
installed.
-
Tear apart the double-sided tape on the front of
the magnet and x it to the desired location. The
magnet must be installed less than 2 cm away
from the transmitter
For stronger installation, the detector can also be
mounted with screws: remove the plastic cover of
the magnet and drive two screws through it.
If mounted on a metal door or window and
transmission signal is not sucient, place a nonmetallic layer under the magnet.
Register the detector in the alarm system
Switch to Connection Mode on the control panel.
Separate the magnet of the detector from its
transmitter. The control panel beeps once: the
detector is registered. If you hear two beeps, the
detector has already been connected.

Zone setup
The detector can be assigned to dierent
categories of zone, by opening its case and
moving its jumpers according to the drawing
below:
Zone A Zone B
Zone C Zone D

It is recommended to set
the smoke detector, the gas
detector and the outdoor
beam sensor at 24-H zone.
The detector is assigned to zone C by default.
The detector can be assigned to a dierent zone
depending on your needs. For more information
on the zone set up, please refer to the instruction
manual of your eTiger alarm system.
