GUARANTEE - This instrument carries a

two-year guarantee against defects in either
components or workmanship. During this
period, products that prove to be defective
will, at the discretion of ETI, be either repaired
or replaced without charge. This guarantee
does not apply to probes, where a six-month
period is offered. The product guarantee does
not cover damage caused by fair wear and
tear, abnormal storage conditions, incorrect
use, accidental misuse, abuse, neglect,

misapplication or modication. Full details

Operating Instructions

INSTRUMENT OPERATION - Apply the tip of the
probe to the substance, medium to be measured. The
instrument reading may take a few seconds to stabilise,
depending on the nature of the measurement.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT - The instrument will
display 'LO BAT' to warn that the batteries will
need changing soon. The instrument continues
to measure accurately but after further usage the

instrument will display 'at bat' and shutdown.

Replace the batteries with three AAA batteries
located under the rear cover that is held in place by
a single screw.
ERROR MESSAGE - If the thermometer or probe
has developed a fault the instrument will show Err.
EMC/RFI - Instrument performance may be affected

if operated within a high frequency radio eld,

such as near a mobile phone, or if subjected to an
electrostatic shock.
WARNING: IPA and other solvents may cause
damage to the case and screen of this instrument.

FR - FONCTIONNEMENT DE L’INSTRUMENT
Appliquer la pointe de la sonde sur la substance
ou la surface à mesurer. La lecture peut prendre
quelques secondes pour se stabiliser, selon la nature
de l’élément à mesurer.
REMPLACEMENT DES PILES - 'LO BAT' (piles
faibles) pour avertir que les piles auront besoin
d’être changées bientôt. L’instrument continuera la
mesure avec précision mais, après avoir être encore

utilisé, l’instrument afchera 'at bat' (piles plates)

et s’éteindra. Remplacez les piles par trois piles AAA
situées sous le couvercle arrière qui est maintenue
en place par une seule vis.
MESSAGE D'ERREUR - En cas d’erreur du
thermomètre ou de la sonde, le thermomètre

afche Err.

AVERTISSEMENT: L’alcool isopropylique et d’autres
solvants pourraient endommager le boîtier et
l’écran de cet instrument.

angezeigte Messwert stabilisiert sich, je nach Art der
Messung, nach ein paar Sekunden.
BATTERIEWECHSEL - Das Instrument zeigt 'LO
BAT' an, um darauf hinzuweisen, dass die Batterien in
Kürze ausgetauscht werden müssen. Das Instrument
setzt die korrekte Temperaturmessung fort, aber nach

weiterer Benutzung zeigt das Instrument 'at bat'

an und schaltet sich ab. Tauschen Sie die Batterien

durch drei AAA-Batterien aus. Die Batterien benden

sich unter der hinteren Abdeckung, die durch eine
Schraube festgehalten wird.

FEHLERMELDUNG - Bei einer Fehlfunktion des

Thermometers oder Messfühlers wird auf dem

Gerät Err angezeigt.

WARNUNG: IPA und andere Lösungsmittel

können das Gehäuse und das Display dieses Geräts
beschädigen.

IT - FUNZIONAMENTO DELLO STRUMENTO -
Applicare la testina della sonda sulla sostanza, sul

mezzo o sulla supercie da misurare. Lo strumento

potrebbe impiegare alcuni secondi per stabilizzarsi,
a seconda del tipo di misurazione.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLE BATTERIE - Lo strumento
visualizzerà 'LO BAT' (batteria bassa) per avvertire
che le batterie devono essere cambiate presto. Lo
strumento continua a misurare con precisione ma
dopo un uso ulteriore lo strumento visualizzerà

'at bat' (batteria scarica) e si spegnerà. Sostituire

le batterie con tre batterie AAA situate sotto il

coperchio posteriore che è ssato da una sola vite.

MESSAGGIO DI ERRORE - Se il termometro o la
sonda hanno un difetto di funzionamento sullo
strumento apparirà Err.
AVVERTENZA: IPA e altri solventi potrebbero
danneggiare la custodia e lo schermo di questo
strumento.

PT - UTILIZAR O INSTRUMENTO - Aplique a
extremidade da sonda à substância, meio ou
superfície que pretende medir. A leitura do
instrumento pode demorar alguns segundos a
estabilizar, consoante a natureza da medição.
SUBSTITUIÇÃO DA PILHA - O instrumento exibirá
'LO BAT' (Pilhas fracas) para avisar que as
pilhas terão de ser substituídas brevemente. O
instrumento continua a fazer a medição com
precisão, mas se continuar a ser utilizado, exibirá
'Pilhas descarregadas' e desligará. Substitua as
pilhas com três pilhas AAA colocadas sob a tampa,

na parte de trás, que está xada por um só parafuso.

ERROR MESSAGE (MENSAGEM DE ERRO) - Se o

termómetro ou sonda tiver desenvolvido um defeito

aparecerá a mensagem 'Err'.
ADVERTÊNCIA: O IPA e outros solventes podem
causar danos ao revestimento e ao visor deste
instrumento.

ES - FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL INSTRUMENTO
Introduzca la punta de la sonda en la sustancia, medio

o supercie a medir. Es posible que el lector del

instrumento tarde unos segundos en estabilizarse,

dependiendo de la naturaleza de la medición.

CAMBIO DE PILA - El instrumento registrará en el
visualizador 'LO BAT' para indicar que las pilas se
están agotando. El instrumento seguirá tomando
mediciones con exactitud, pero si se sigue utilizando

aparecerá 'at bat' (pila agotada) y se apagará. Hay

que reponer las tres pilas AAA situadas debajo de la
tapa en la parte posterior del instrumento. La tapa

está jada con un solo tornillo.
MENSAJE DE ERROR - Si el termómetro o la sonda

tienen fallos, el instrumento registra ERR.
ADVERTENCIA: El alcohol isopropílico y otros
disolventes pueden causar daños en la carcasa y la
pantalla de este instrumento.
