LED Well Glass Fitting With PC Diuser
& Optional Corner Bracket
These instructions are provided as a guideline to assist you.
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION
AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

READ THIS FIRST:
Check the pack and make sure you have all of the
parts listed on the front of this booklet. If not, contact
the outlet where you bought this product.
This product must be installed by a competent person
in accordance with the current building and IEE wiring
regulations.
As the buyer, installer and/or user of this product it is
your own responsibility to ensure that this tting is t
for the purpose for which you have intended it. Eterna
Lighting cannot accept any liability for loss, damage
or premature failure resulting from inappropriate use.
This product is designed and constructed according
to the principles of the appropriate British Standard
and is intended for normal domestic service.
Switch o the mains before commencing installation
and remove the appropriate circuit fuse or lock o
MCB.
This unit is suitable for outdoor use.
This product is designed for permanent connection to
xed wiring: this must be a suitable circuit (protected
with the appropriate MCB or fuse).
Before making xing hole(s), check that there are no
obstructions hidden beneath the mounting surface
such as pipes or cables.
Make sure that the xings are strong enough to
support the considerable weight of the tting and
hold it rigidly and allow for safe connection to the
mains supply (lighting circuit).
When making connections ensure that the terminals
are tightened securely and that no strands of wire
protrude. Check that the terminals are tightened onto
the bared conductors and not onto any insulation.
This product must be connected to earth termination.
This product is not intended to be used by children
and persons with sensory, physical and/or mental
impairments that would prevent them from using it
safely.
You are advised at every stage of your installation to
double-check any electrical connections you have
made. After you have completed your installation
there are electrical tests that should be carried out,
these tests are specied in the current IEE wiring and
building regulations.
The lamp/bulb supplied with this tting is a
consumable part and is outside of any warranty
oered.
INSTALLATION:
• Having chosen the location for your new light tting,
use the wall plate as a template to mark xing holes.
• Remove the wall plate from the tting by loosening
the locking screw at the bottom of the wall end of
the tting.
• Pass the supply cable through the grommet in the
wall plate making as small a hole as possible to
maintain the waterproof rating.
• Fix the wall plate to the wall using the xings
supplied or other xings if the ones supplied are not
suitable for your installation.
• Make the connections between your tting and the
supply wiring according to the following code:
Live: Brown or Red
Neutral: Blue or Black
Earth: Green and Yellow
• Locate the tting over the wall plate ensuring that
the lampholder is pointing directly downwards and
tighten the locking screw at the bottom of the wall
end of the tting.
• Install suplied LED lamp.
• Replace the PC diuser. Ensure that the gasket is
tted correctly over the thread and ts at against
the shoulder at the bottom of the thread, ensure that
the PC diuser is tightened securely but take care
not to over tighten.
• Replace circuit fuse and switch power back on.
TO FIT ONTO CORNER USING CORNER
MOUNTING BRACKET:
• Use corner bracket as a template to make xing
holes.
• Secure corner bracket to the wall using the xings
or other xings if those supplied are not suitable for
your installation.
• Fit black gasket to corner bracket with tab located
over the grooves in the bracket.
• Pass the supply cable through hole in the corner
bracket and then through the grommet in the wall
plate making as small a hole in the grommet as
possible to maintain the waterproof rating.
• Secure tting wall plate to corner bracket using
screws supplied.
• Locate the tting over the wall plate ensuring that
the lampholder is pointing directly downwards and
tighten the locking screw at the bottom of the wall
end of the tting.
• Install suplied LED lamp.
• Replace the PC diuser. Ensure that the gasket is
tted correctly over the thread and ts at against
the shoulder at the bottom of the thread ensure that
the PC diuser is tightened securely but take care
not to over tighten.
• Replace circuit fuse and switch power back on.
LAMP REPLACEMENT:
Switch o the electricity at the mains.
Remove the diuser etc.
Remove and replace lamp.
REPLACEMENT LAMP TYPE:
Requires 1 x suitable energy saving ES lamp.
Fitting is rated at 23W max.
CLEANING:
Disconnect the power and clean the exterior only of
this tting with a moist (not wet) cloth.
The diuser may be removed and washed in a
mild detergent solution. Make sure the diuser is
completely dry before putting back on your light
tting.
Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners
EVENTUALLY, YOU MAY WANT TO
REPLACE THIS PRODUCT:

WHEN YOUR PRODUCT COMES TO THE END OF
ITS LIFE OR YOU CHOOSE TO REPLACE IT, PLEASE
RECYCLE IT WHERE FACILITIES EXIST DO NOT
DISPOSE WITH HOUSEHOLD WASTE.
