inappropriate use.
This unit is suitab le for both indoor and outdo or use
(not to be used outsi de when charging).
This produc t is not suitable for bathroom u se.

Do not use this por table oodlight in the im mediate
surroundings of a b ath, shower or swimming poo l or
where there are a mmable liquids or gasses.
The lamp must be p ositioned so that there is at lea st
0.5m (500mm) bet ween the bulb and any illuminated
surface.
This produc t is not intended to be used by childr en
and persons wi th sensory, physical and/or ment al
impairments th at would prevent them from using i t
saf ely.
Small children sho uld be supervised to ensu re that
they do not play with th is appliance.
IMPORTANT:
The plug is tte d with a suitable fuse. Whe n
replacing, use o nly a suitable fuse approved
to BS1362 and carrying the relev ant approval
mark. Never use t he plug with the fuse bypasse d
or omitted. I f the external exibl e cable of this
luminaire is damag ed it shall be exclusively repl aced
by a service age nt or similar qualied engine er.
LAMP REPLACEMENT:
This luminaire has a s ealed LED lamp and is
maintenance free , no lamp replacement is require d.
BATTERY CHARGING:
Charge times from full discharge are as follows:
10W:
5 hours (mains charger)
6.5 hours (car charger)
20W:
5.5 hours (mains charger)
6.5 hours (car charger)
USAGE:
The switch has thre e settings:
0 = OFF
I = 60% Lig ht Output
II = 100% Light Outp ut
The 60% set ting will increase how long the l ight
remains illuminated.
The light can be rot ated on the horizontal plan e
using the adjust able screw and on the vertic al plane
by loosening the b racket connection to the b ody.
(Note: Allen key not sup plied).
INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES
Within cert ain products Etern a Lighting Ltd places lead
acid, lithium io n, nickel cadmium & nickel m etal hydride
batteries on the market. Industrial batteries are subject
to waste regulat ion under the Waste Batte ries and
Accumulators Regulations 2009 and should be disposed
of responsibl y. Purchasers may be able to disp ose of their
waste industrial batteries locally via legitimate licensed
trade waste cont ractors. Eterna is o bliged to take back,
free of charge a nd within a reasonable tim e, waste
industrial ba tteries of the same che mistry supplied to a
Purchaser, for treatm ent and recycling and is r equired
to do this in any calen dar year new industrial b atteries
are placed on the m arket. In certain circ umstances, this
may include batteries not originally supplied by Eterna.
If any Purchaser re quires Eterna to take back In dustrial
batteries, they should write to the Operations Director,
Eterna Lightin g Ltd, Huxley Close, NN8 6AB, w ho will then
advise on the ne cessary arrange ments for the receipt,
proper treatment and recycling of, the waste industrial
batteries.
WARN ING!
To maintain the lamp and ensure s afety please follow
the below instructions:
DO NOT turn on the light when charging
DO NOT leave the lamp o n charge for over 24 hours
Only use the charger supplied with the lamp
DO NOT use a modied or damaged charger
DO NOT disassemble the lamp
Ensure that the IP plug i s in place after charging and
before use
Recharge the o odlight every six months wh en in
stock.
WARN ING!

injury if used i mproperly. Please follow the be low
safety rules:
DO NOT place bat teries in re or in areas of high
temperature
DO NOT tamper w ith the battery wiring
DO NOT puncture or damage the batteries
DO NOT use batt eries if they appear damage d
DO NOT immerse t he batteries in water or exp ose
to water
DO NOT alter or modify the batteries
DO NOT attempt to c hange the batteries
DO NOT dispose of t he batteries in re or water
DO NOT use the charg ing unit outside, this is not IP
rated
