SOME PARTS OF THIS PRODUCT CAN BECOME VERY HOT AND CAUSE BURNS. PARTICULAR ATTENTION HAS TO BE GIVEN WHERE CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE ARE PRESENT.
CAUTION!
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away from the heater unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/o the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

This product is designed and constructed according to the principles o f the appropriate British Stan dard and is intended fo r normal domestic ser vice.
Switch o the mains be fore commencing installati on and remove the appropriate circuit fuse.

This produc t is only suitable for use in livi ng areas (not for areas constan tly subject to moisture).

This produc t is not intended to be used by childr en and persons wi th sensory, physical and/or ment al impairments th at would prevent them from using i t saf ely.
This produc t is suitable for installatio n on surfaces with normal ammability e.g. wood, plasterboard, masonry. It is not sui table for use on highly ammable sur faces (e.g. polystyren e, textiles).
Before makin g xing hole(s), check that there are no obstructi ons hidden beneath the mount ing surface such as pipes or cab les.
The chosen loc ation of your new heater should a llow for the produc t to be securely mounted and s afely connected to th e mains supply.
WARNING - To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
Do not attach to su rfaces which are damp, fresh ly painted or other wise electricall y conductive (e.g. metallic sur faces).
If the location o f your new heater requires the provision of a new el ectrical supply, the suppl y must conform with the requirements of the Building Regulations.
This produc t is designed for permanent co nnection to xed wiring via a f used spur (with a 13 Amp fuse). We recommend that the s upply incorporates a switch for ease of o peration.
Make connecti ons to the electrical supp ly in accordance with the f ollowing code:
Live - Brown or Red Neutral - Blue or B lack Earth - Gree n and Yellow
This produc t must be connected to Ear th.
If the exter nal exible cable of this hea ter is damaged it shou ld be replaced or repaired by a qualied person.
You are advised at ever y stage of your installatio n to double-check any electrical connections you have made. After you h ave completed your installatio n there are elec trical tests that should b e carried out: these tests are sp ecied in the Wiring Reg ulations (BS7671) refer red to in the Building Regulati ons
INSTALLATION:
NOTE: If insta lling on vinyl ooring, che ck suitability
and/or contact ooring manufacturer.
01) Select the location of you r new heater with consideration to the conditions listed above.
02) Remove the selecte d plinth and cut a rectangul ar hole 112mm up from the oor level and 450mm wide.
03) Select the requi red fascia colour, oer up to the heater, mark the xing h oles and secure to the plinth with the colo ur match screws.
04) Make the supply conn ections according to the colour code above.
05) Position the plinth (the he ater should be resting squarely on all fo ur feet to prevent vibration) and secure plinth using suitable xings.
06) Restore the pow er supply.
07) Operate the large s witch, the fan will run and blow cold air.
08) Operating the l eft hand small switch only w ill produce 800 Wat ts of heat. The right hand sw itch only will delive r 1600 Wat ts of heat.
09) With both switche s operated the maximum hea t setting of 240 0 Watts will be attained .
10) The thermostat contro l may be rotated to set the temperature to th e desired level. The heater an d fan will switch o o nce the desired temperature is reached and sw itch on when the ambient temperature drops.
