Vorbemerkung

Die Beachtung der nachstehenden
Montageanweisung gewährleistet eine optimale
Funktion und eine lange Lebensdauer. Bitte
Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit und
Beschädigungen prüfen. Für Beschädigungen
durch unsachgemäße Behandlung kann keine
Haftung übernommen werden.

Sicherheitshinweise

Die Montageanleitung beschreibt nur Technik und
Ablauf der Montage. Vor Beginn der Arbeiten
muss durch eine Gefährdungsanalyse
systematisch geprüft werden, wie die staatlichen
Regeln zum Arbeitsschutz und die
Unfallverhütungsvorschriften der
Berufsgenossenschaften eingehalten werden
können.

ACHTUNG:
Die einschlägigen Sicherheitsbestimmungen des
Arbeitsschutzes und der Berufsgenossenschaften
sind bei der Montage und den späteren
Wartungsarbeiten unbedingt zu beachten!

Vorbereitung der Montage

Vor der Montage muss geprüft werden, ob die
Unterkonstruktion ausreichend stabil ist.

Achtung:
Bei Lichtkuppeln über Nenngröße 120 x 120 cm
werden zur Montage 2 Personen benötigt.

Wartung und Pflege

Lichtkuppeln müssen einmal jährlich überprüft
werden. Dabei auf folgendes achten:

 sichtbare Beschädigungen an der Kuppel,

am Rahmen oder des
Dachbahnanschlusses,

 Scharniere prüfen und gegebenenfalls

mit einem Gleitmittel, z.B. Silikonspray,
behandeln,

 Öffner – System auf Funktion prüfen.

Die Lichtkuppel sollte mindestens einmal jährlich
(je nach Standort nach Bedarf auch mehrfach
jährlich) gründlich von innen und außen gereinigt
werden. Normalerweise reichen klares Wasser
und ein feuchtes Tuch. Bei stärkerer
Verschmutzung ein sanftes Reinigungsmittel
verwenden. Wir empfehlen Burnus
Kunststoffreiniger (ESSERTEC – Art. – Nr.

8000972).

Preliminary note

Obeying the following installation instructions
guarantees ideal operation and a long working
life. Please check that the deliverables are
complete and undamaged. We do not assume any
liability for damage caused by incorrect handling.

Safety information

The installation instructions describe only the
installation technique and sequence. Before
starting work, you must always check by means of
a risk analysis how national rules for safety at
work and union accident prevention regulations
can be observed.

N.B.:
It is mandatory to obey the relevant safety
regulations for the workplace and those imposed
by the unions during installation and later
maintenance tasks!

A ventilated skylight is a power operated covering
as defined in Machines Directive
2006/42 /EC. Consequently, you must check when
planning whether human beings can be out at risk
by the ventilation unit. If this is the case,
appropriate actions must be taken to protect
humans.

Preparation for installation

N.B.:
2 people are needed to install a skylight.

Care and maintenance

Skylights must be checked once a year. At the
same time, look out for:

 Check for visible damage to the skylight,

frame, seals or to the roof track
connection,

 Check the hinges and treat them with a

lubricant, e.g. silicon spray, if necessary,

 Check that the opening system is working

You should clean the skylight thoroughly from
both the inside and outside at least once a year
(depending on the location, you may also need to
clean it several times a year). Clean water and a
damp cloth normally suffice. Use a gentle
detergent if the skylight is extremely dirty. We
recommend Burnus plastic cleaner (ESSERTEC
part no. 8000972) for plastic areas of the frame.
