Please do calibration when the S1 is not working as horizontal by unbalanced of roll
and tilt while using the S1.
1. Place the GoPro camera into frame housing and attach frame
housing to the gimbal.
2. Put the frame housing on a at sur face. (Refer to the image)
3. - Like the left image, hold the gimbal and the frame housing
tightly with hands.
- Power on the gimbal.
- Press the but ton and but ton together for 3 seconds.
(Please do calibration in a at or horizontal surfaces.)
4. After indicating "User Calibration" on OLED display, calibarion
operates for 5 second. (While operating calibration, DO NOT
move the gimbal and the frame housing.)

6. How to use Low Angle
When using Pan Mode:When using Follow Mode:
In Pan Mode, the camera will automatically
position left and right. The T ilt and Roll posi-
tions are xed, therefore the camera will be
pointing at the gimbal's motor.
Using your hand, manually adjust the camera's position by rot ating the camera away
from the gimbal motor.

In follow mode, the camera will automatically
adjus t its position as it is inverted.
The gimbal is automatically position and ready
for use.

Maintenance
Follow these g uidel ines to g et the b est pe rformance from your REMOVU S1.
- REMOVU S1 i s a rainp roof gimbal t hat ca n be use d in the rain or sn ow. Do not subme rge S1 in the wate r for underwater s hoot purpose. Make s ure that S1's bat ter y cove r is closed before us ing.
- Before clos ing the door s, be su re the seals are free of debris. If ne eded , clean with a cloth.
- Before o pening the doors , be sure S1 gimbal is free of wate r or debris. If needed, rinse the d evice with fresh w ater
and dr y it wi th a cloth.
- If s and or d ebri s harde ns around the doors, rinse wit h tap wa ter th oroughly to remove the debris before o peni ng
the doors.
- After every us e in sal t water, rinse th e S1 gimba l with f resh w ater and dry it wit h a clean cloth .
- In wet enviro nments, dr y the S1 gimbal with a soft cloth and d ry it, so that it will be pro tected from corr osion.
- To clean the S1 gi mbal, wipe it with a s oft , lint- free c loth. If debr is bec omes lodged between the each m otor and the
trim ring, ush it out wit h wate r or air. Do not inse rt f oreign object s around th e motor joints.
Battery Information
Follow these g uidel ines to g et the s afe performance from your REMOVU S1.
- The batteries of S1 and the remo te con troller sh ould be cha rged by an S1 exclusive charger onl y. 5V/2 A adaptor is
recom mended. Charge only 1 bat ter y, if charged u nder 5 V/1A.
- S1 contains sens itive components, including the batte ry. Avoid e xpos ing your S1 to ver y col d or ve ry hot te mperatures . Low or h igh tem pera ture co ndit ions may temp orarily shorten the batte ry li fe or cause th e S1 to temporar ily
stop working properly.
- Avoid dramat ic chan ges in temperatur e or humidit y when using t he S1, as condensation may for m on or wi thin S1.
- Do not dry the S1 or battery with an externa l heat source suc h as a m icrowave oven or hair d rye r. Damage to th e S1
or bat ter y caused by co ntact with liqu id inside the S1 i s not cov ered under the warr ant y.
- Do n ot store your battery with m etal objec ts, such as c oins, keys or n eckl aces. If the ba tte ry te rminals com e in
contact w ith m etal obje cts, this may cause a re.
Warning: Do not drop, dis asse mble, open, crush , bend , deform, pun cture, shre d, microwave, incinerate
or paint the S1 or batter y. Do not inser t foreign objects i nto the b attery opening on the S1. Do
not use t he S1 or the battery, if it has bee n damag ed—for example, if cracked, pun ctured or
harmed by wat er. Disassembling or punctur ing th e battery can cause an explosion or r e.
Battery Disposal
Most recha rgeable Li -Polymer bat teries are clas sie d as n on- hazardous wast e and are sa fe for disp osal in the normal
munic ipal wa ste s tream. Many l ocalities have laws in place req uiring bat ter y rec ycling. Check you r loca l laws t o make
sure that you can disp ose of rechar geable bat teries in yo ur regular trash. To safely dispos e of Li-Pol ymer batt erie s,
prote ct termin als from exposu re to o ther metal with pac king , masking o r ele ctr ical tape so they do n ot ca use a re
while bein g transpor ted. Neve r disp ose o f a batter y in a re b ecau se it may ex plod e.

Battery Warning

- Purchase right bat ter ies to S1 always.
- Keep th e bat ter y clean and dr y.
- In case of bat ter y pollutio n, clean the batte ry socket w ith a dr y clo th.
- Batte ries s hould be char ged be fore using. Follo w the manufactur er's guide line of t he bat ter y charger and use pr oper char ger according to the S1 manual .
- Do not ov ercharge th e bat ter y, if the battery is not used for a long tim e.
- Normally, a ba ttery's bes t per formance is done at t he roo m temperature, 20 °C(68°F ) ± 5°C(9 °F) .
- Use the batt ery for the o rigi nal pur pose o nly.
- Separate th e bat ter y from t he S1, in cas e of no us e for a long time.
- Do no t ope n or x the b att ery. Ask REMOV U C/ S Center of the batte ry related issues.
- Do no t sto re the bat ter y with coins, keys, n eckl ess o r met al materials. It migh t cau se re, if t he battery's slo t is
contacte d with metal mater ials .
- Keep the battery dry, S1 gim bal protec ts the battery from the wate r leakage. Do n ot wet t he bat ter y. Oth erw ise, i t
might caus e re o r ele ctr ic shock. Bat ter y dama ge by water is not covered by warra nty ser vice.
- Use REM OVU S1's genuin e bat ter y only.
