REMOVU K1 is a 4K Camera with an integrated 3-axis gimbal.
It is lightweight, por table, user-friendly and aordable.
To ensure that everything is in the shot, the K1 has a custom
designed F2.8 wide angle lens. It shoots sharp 12MP photos and
stable video at up to 4K. With the built-in 1. 5” LCD screen, you can
preview and playback recorded videos and photos instantly. The
K1 uses a powerful interchangeable smart battery, that provides
up-to 4 hours of continuous lming on a single charge.

Before You Begin
The f ollowing doc uments ha ve been p roduced to help you safely op erate and
make f ull use of your K1.
Check that you have all t he include d parts listed o n “In the Box” rs t. Read
the e ntire user manual and watch th e tutorial videos on the pro duct page of
the o cial REMOV U website before yo u begin to use K1. If you ha ve any que stions or proble ms during t he instal lation, main tenance or use of th is produc t,
please contact REMOVU or a REMOVU distribu tor.
Caution
1. Intr icate compo nents ins ide the K 1 may be damaged upo n impact and
cause the gimba l to malfun ction.
2. Befo re using the gimbal, be sure to u nlock the roll motor and unlock the
pan a xis lock. Other wise, the gimbal may become da maged.
3. When storing the gimbal, be sure to l ock the r oll motor a nd pan ax is lock.
Othe rwise, t he gimbal may become damaged.
4. The K1 is NOT water resi stant. D O NOT use any liquid cleansers . Only us e a
soft dry cl oth to clea n the K1 .
5. Keep the K1 away from sand and dust to s afeguard t he sensor s in the
camera and motors.
6. D O NOT use the K1 with Pole/Sele Stick.
Notice

Warning
To avoid re, serio us injury, and prope rty dam age, obser ve the following
safet y guidelin es when using, cha rging, or storing y our batter ies.
Battery Use
1. DO N OT allow th e batteri es to me et any kin d of liquid . DO NOT le ave batterie s out in the rain or near a source of moisture. DO NOT drop the bat tery
into w ater. If the inside of the batt ery come s into con tact wit h water, che mical decomposit ion may occ ur, potentiall y resulting in the b attery catching
on re , and may even lead to an ex plosion.
2. If t he batter y falls into water by accide nt, put it in a s afe and op en area
immedia tely. Maintai n a safe distance f rom the b attery until it i s completel y
dry. Never use the bat tery ag ain, and di spose of the batte ry prop erly as
descr ibed in the Batte ry Disp osal sec tion belo w.
3. Put out any ba ttery re using w ater, sand, re blanket or a dr y powder re
extinguis her.
4. Neve r use non -REMOVU b atteries . REMOVU DO NOT tak e responsi bility fo r
any dam age cause d by non- REMOVU ba tteries .
5. Neve r use or charge swo llen, leak y, o r damaged batteries . If your batterie s
are ab normal, co ntact REM OVU or a REMOVU di stributor for fur ther
assistance.
6. The battery should b e used in temperatu res from 0℃ to 40℃ . Use of the
batte ry in e nvironment s above 4 0℃ can le ad to a r e or exp losion. Use of
batte ry belo w 0℃ can lead to pe rmanent da mage.
7. DO NOT u se the b attery in strong electros tatic or electro magnetic e nvironment s. Other wise, t he batter y contro l board ma y malfunct ion.
8. Neve r disass emble or p ierce the battery in any w ay or the batter y may
leak, catch re, or explo de.
9. DO N OT drop or st rike batt eries. D O NOT place heavy o bjects on the ba tterie s. DO NOT pressure any physic al shock into the b attery.
10. Elec trolytes in the b attery are highly corrosive . In case of leakag e of the
batte ry, DO N OT expose your skin or eye to the ele ctrolyte s. If e xposed,
immedia tely wash the aec ted area with fres h running water for at least
15 mi nutes, and then se e a doc tor immediate ly.
11. DO NOT use th e batter y if it received impact fr om a fall or other accidents .
12. DO NOT heat bat teries. DO NOT dr y the bat tery w ith an e xternal h eat
source such as a microwave oven or hair drye r.
13. DO NOT manually sh ort-circu it the ba ttery.
14. Clean battery terminals with a c lean, dry cloth.
Battery Charging
1. Charg e batter y by 5V/2 A adaptor.
2. Neve r leave th e batter y unatte nded during charging. DO NOT ch arge the
batte ry near ammable mat erials or on ammable surface s such as carpet
or wood.
3. DO NOT overchar ge the bat tery, if the bat tery is not used for a lon g time.
Battery Storage
1. Keep batterie s out of the reach of childre n and pet s.
2. DO NOT leave th e batter y near h eat source s such as a furnace or heater.
DO NOT leave the batterie s inside of a vehicl e on hot days. The ideal storage temperature is 22℃-28℃.
3. Alwa ys keep t he batter y in a dry plac e.
4. DO N OT store t he batter y fully discharged for long periods o f time, ot herwise it will ov er discharg e and lead to perma nent damage.
5. DO N OT store in a box or drawer in which th ere are ot her metal materials
or coi ns. It mig ht cause a short circuit.
6. DO NOT store t he batte ry with metal mat erials suc h as coins , keys, jewelry
and ha irpins. It might ca use re, i f the bat tery’s slot is con tacted w ith metal
materials.
Battery Maintenance
1. Ne ver use t he batter y when the tempe rature is too high or too low.
2. Neve r store t he batter y in env ironments with a te mperature higher tha n 60℃.
Travel Notice
1. Befo re carr ying the Smart Ba ttery o n an airlin e ight, it must rst be f ully
discha rged. Only discharge the bat tery in a reproof location. Store Smar t
Batteries in a vent ilated location.
2. Keep the bat tery awa y from me tal objec ts such as glass es, watc hes,
jewelr y, and hai rpins.
3. Neve r transpo rt a dam aged batt ery or a batter y with p ower leve l higher
than 50%.
Battery Disposal
Most rechargeabl e Li-Poly mer batt eries are classie d as non- hazardous
waste and are safe for d isposal in the norm al municipal waste s tream. Many
locali ties have laws in pl ace requir ing batter y recy cling. Che ck your lo cal laws
to make sure that you can dispose of rechargea ble batter ies in yo ur regular
trash . To safely dispose of Li-Poly mer batte ries, pr otect ter minals fro m
expo sure to oth er metal with pack ing, mask ing or ele ctrical tape so they DO
NOT ca use a re while bein g transpo rted. Ne ver dispos e of a b attery in a re
beca use it may explode.
Notice
1. Make sure the b atteries are fully charged b efore using .
2. The Smart Ba ttery is designe d to stop charging w hen it is full. How ever,
it is a good p ractice to monitor the charg ing progres s and dis connect the
batteries when fully charge.
3. Disc harge the battery to 50% if it will NOT be us ed for 10 days or m ore. This
can g reatly ex tend the batter y life.
4. The battery will go in to hibernat ion mode, in which it cannot be used
direc tly, if it is deplete d or af ter long pe riods of inactivi ty. Rechar ge the
batte ry to b ring it ou t of hiber nation mo de.
5. Remov e batter ies from the devic e when st ored for an exten ded perio d.
6. Neve r Over-dis charge, as this may lead to ba ttery cell damage.
7. Batter y life ma y be redu ced if not used fo r a long t ime.
8. Disc harge and charge the batter y completel y once ev ery thr ee months to
keep it in good condition .
