Adding a Bluetooth device
To add a Bluetooth device:
From the Notification area
From MyBluetooth Devices
Dependent on the device type, you can als o connect to your com puter from the remote device. See Connecting from the rem ote device.
FromtheNotificationarea:
1. Ensure the device is turned on, has Blu etooth enabl ed and is di scoverable.
2. In the Notification area, right-click the Bluetooth icon, select Add Bluetooth Device and choose the device type you want to a dd:
3. The Add Bluetooth Device window opens.
All discoverable Bluetooth devices of the chose n type, w hich are in range , wi ll be displayed. Click on the device you want to
connect to and click Next:

4. You m ay be prompted to enter a pai ring code on the device. The co de may be entered on your phone handset us ing the
num ber pad or using the device's keyboard. When promp ted on your device, e nter the p airing code:
If a pairing code is displayed o n both your PC and the remote device, accept or confirm on both.
5. Click Finish to complete adding a Bluetooth device.

FromMyBluetoothDevices:
