WARNING
NOT A TOY FOR USE BY CHILDREN! MAY CAUSE SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURY! READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY! KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! USE ONLY WITH ADULT SUPERVISION!
Bow and arrows shipped in this set are matched. Do not use arrows in any other bow.
DO NOT SHOOT YOUR BOW WITHOUT AN ARROW (DRY FIRE)! ALWAYS USE ARROWS PROPERLY SPINED
FOR THIS BOW. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY MIS-NOCK AND MIS-FIRE, CHECK BOW AND ARROW THOROUGHLY
FOR POSSIBLE DAMAGE. REPLACE ARROWS IF BENT OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY.
Bows and arrows are not toys! Safety precautions should be taken just as with an air rifle or darts. The user should read, understand
and follow these guidelines:
Always remember that a loaded bow is a deadly weapon!
•
Never show your skill by using a human target or permit someone to hold a target for you!
•
Be sure no one is standing in front of or to the sides of the archer while bow is being drawn or shot! Be sure everyone is standing behind the archer.
•
Shoot only at the target. Try first shots at closer distances until the archer feels comfortable shooting the bow.
•
Never use arrows that are too short!
•
Replace your bowstring when it becomes worn or frayed.
•
Always string your bow properly!
•
Escalade Sports is an authorized licensee of PSE Archery, Tuscon, AZ

Always use finger and arm protectors!
•
Never use a target that cannot stop an arrow!
•
Always have an adequate backstop in the area behind the target. Make sure the area behind the target is clear and free of objects that may cause the
•
arrows to bounce off or be deflected.
Do not allow anyone to retrieve arrows until ALL arrows have been shot!
•
Remember, look before you shoot!
•
Never use a damaged bow or damaged arrows! Inspect bow and arrows periodically for imperfections such as cracks, splits or splinters. If any
•
damage is detected, bow or arrow must be destroyed!
DRAW WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
This compound bow is factory pre-set at peak draw weight.
To change the draw weight...
Turn the draw weight adjustment bolt clockwise to increase the
draw weight and counter-clockwise to decrease the draw
weight. When making draw weight adjustments, make sure to
turn the draw weight adjustment bolts the same amount on both
the upper and the lower limbs in order to keep your bow in
tune.(See Figure A)

ARROW REST
Included with this bow is an adjustable arrow rest. (See Figure
B1) Place the threaded post of the rest into the threaded insert in
the handle. Rotate the rest clockwise 18 turns to align the rest
with the center of the bow-string. (This may require turning the
rest with pliers. Using light pressure, hold the rest on the top and
bottom edges.)
Place the locknut on the threaded post of the rest which is
exposed on the opposite side of the handle. Snug the locknut
to the handle to hold the arrow rest in position. DON’T
OVER-TIGHTEN.
Figure B2 shows the arrow rest in proper location. Minor
adjustments to center the arrow are made by loosening the
locknut and rotating the rest a full turn in either direction, re-snug
the locknut. Place arrow on arrow rest as shown. NEVER SHOOT
THE BOW WITH AN ARROW OFF OF THE ARROW REST.
SIGHT PLATE AND
QUIVER INSTALLATION
Install quiver and sight to bow (as shown in figure C) with two
#10-24 x 3/4" pan head screws.
NOTE: The quiver is mounted on top of the sight plate.

down in the slot to change height of arrow trajectory. Move pin
by rotating threads clockwise or counterclockwise to change
trajectory right and left. Sight pin assembly shown in figure B3.
THE ARROW
The arrow nock always has the groove positioned so that the index
vane clears the bow in the best fashion. (See Figure D)
NOCKING THE ARROW
Place the arrow nock groove on the string. Make
sure the arrow nock groove is completely seated on the string.
The arrow should be 90 degrees (right angle) to the string.
NOTE: Slot in sight plate to this side
