Fireman's Gym® Sandbox

1) Inventory the parts. The Sandbox comes in one box marked #76. Refer to
the Box Packing List on the reverse.

2) Level the ground under the Fireman's Gym so that the Sandbox will sit firmly
on the ground. This will prevent sand from running out beneath the edges of the
Sandbox.

3) Install Sides and Ends. See Illustration 1. Place Sides and Ends loosely
within the Fireman's Gym. Bottom of parts must be flush with bottom of Gym
Uprights. Center so pre-drilled holes are on center with Uprights. Counter-bores
must face into sandbox. Brass ChildLife labels must be right side up and face
out. Screw Sides and Ends to Gym Uprights with (10) 2-1/2" #12 wood screws
supplied. To eliminate scraping hazards, install screws completely so the head of
the screw is below the surface of the wood.

4) Install Corner Seats. See Illustration 2. Place Corner Seats (smooth side
down) so edges are flush with sandbox edges. Fasten each Corner Seat with (4)

1-1/2" Stainless Steel Screws supplied. To eliminate scraping hazards, install
screws completely so the head of the screw is below the surface of the wood.

5) Fill with play sand. Play sand is available at most home improvement cen­ters. To fill the sandbox 6" deep will require 7-1/2 cubic feet of sand.
