Manufacturer warrants to the original retail purchaser, this product to
be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five
(5) years for the backboard and ninety (90) days for all accompanying
parts from the date of purchase. Should this product become defective
due to material or workmanship within the warranty period, contact
our Customer Service Department for repair or replacement at our
option. This warranty is not transferable and does not cover normal
wear and tear, or damage caused by improper handling, installation or
use of this product. This warranty is also void if product is in any way
abused, damaged, or modified from its original state, or if used for other
than residential use. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

IMPORTANT!

We recommend mounting this backboard and goal to an extension arm
pole only. Refer to instructions shipped with extension arm pole for
mounting.

However, if mounting backboard to a Universal Mounting Bracket
(shown below), or similar mounting system where the goal is only
supported by the backboard, you must use the Temporary Safety
Strap shipped with this backboard. Without extra support behind
the goal (such as provided by an extension arm pole), hanging
from the rim and slam dunking the ball may cause the backboard
to break. Therefore, we also recommend ordering a Safety Bracket
(see above) free of charge to permanently secure the goal to your
mounting structure.

Secure Temporary Safety Strap to backboard and mounting
structure with backboard and goal mounting hardware between the
top left goal mounting hole in the backboard and the bottom left
backboard mounting hole in the backboard (See right).

IF YOUR GOAL DOES NOT HAVE EXTRA
SUPPORT BEHIND THE BACKBOARD, BUT BOLTS
ONLY TO THE BACKBOARD AS SHOWN, YOU
MUST USE THE TEMPORARY SAFETY STRAP
