The Twist Lock Adapter for the GENUINE Heliarc
Torches provide a way for a standard HW-17 and a
HW-9 to be used on power supplies with twist lock dinse
connectors. The connector body allows for connection of a standard power cable (3/8-24RHM). The
adapter kit includes connector body, insulator, and bard
hose connection with o-ring.
INSTALLATION
GAS HOSE TO DINSE CONNECTOR:
1. Place the brass connector body into the insulator.
(Make sure to line up the hole from the connector
body with the hole in the insulator.

2. Place the barb hose connector into the hole where
the insulator and the brass connector body are lined
up. Using a flat screwdriver, tighten the barb hose
connector.
3. Take the 12 inch gas hose and a clamp (supplied
by customer) and place it over the barb connector.
Make sure that the clamp is tightened to ensure
no leakage of gas.
