SUMMARY:
The improved feed rolls have a 70 Degree V--groove angle for improved wire gripping and feedability.
The new rolls can be identified by the ‘0’ (zero) before the decimal point in the inch units embossed on
the side of the feed roll.
Example - 0.045 is a 70 degree ‘V’ groove
.045 without the ‘0’ before the decimal point has a 90 degree ‘V’ groove.
DO NOT MIX THE 90 AND 70 DEGREE ROLLS ON THE SAME DRIVE STAND. USE A MATCHED
SET (UPPERS & LOWERS) ONLY.
New Roll Part Numbers:
0459 052 001-------0.023/0.030-In. (replaces 0458655001)
0459 052 002-------0.035/0.045-In. (replaces 0458655003)

Ordering the old part number (90 degree groove) will automatically ship the new rolls (70 degree
groove).

OPERATIONAL IMPACT:
The 70-Degree ‘V’ grooves should improve feedabiltiy and extend feed roll life. Replace all feed
rolls as a complete set.
