PRODUCT SERIES/ MODEL:

SUMMARY: Some of above units have an incorrect gas so lenoid insta lle d, w hich results in low
shield gas flows.
Production has informed us that many of these units were produced using a solenoid rated at 42
Volt AC instead of the desired 24 Volt AC rating. The 42 Volt coi l w ill open slight l y but not
enough to allow full flow.
ACTION: Inspect gas solenoid for 42 Volt coil. This is most easil y done b y removing the left
side panel. The gas solenoid has markings on the side that specif y rated voltage.
CONTACT: If you find a 42 volt coil, please call Warranty Service at 843- 664-4416, and a
replacement (P.N. 951634) will be shipped. Please ha ve the serial nu mber ava ilable.
