ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
L-TEC 160 SPOOL ADAPTOR KIT
(For 15-lb. Spool of .023-in. Wire)
In order to use the 15-lb. spool of .023 wire with the L-TEC
160, Spool Adaptor Kit P/N 17511 is required.
Assembly Instructions (see Figs. 1 & 2)
1. Mount the spool of wire so the recessed side of the
spool faces out and the wire is drawn from the bottom
of the spool. Be sure the stud on the spindle engages
the small round indentation in the spool, (see Fig. 1.)
2. Slide the spacer over the spindle.
3. Slide the hose clamp over the end of the spacer.
4. With the spindle stud still engaged all the way in the
indentation in the spool, push the spacer tightly against
the spool and tighten the hose clamp.
The above procedure is necessary to keep the spindle stud
engaged in the spool indentation. This will prevent the spool
from free wheeling, which can result in tangled wire.
