INSTALLING HEAT SHIELD GUARD
on the PT-17A Torch
STANDARD GUARD - P/N 19990
DRAG-TYPE GUARD - P/N 19989
Push guard over heat shield and onto the shroud.
1.
The step inside the guard should stop against bottom of shroud.
When using the drag-type guard, a 1/8" tip-to work standoff is
provided.
The guard can be rotated
to any desired position and
need not be removed from
the shroud when changing
consumables.
