HC-6 Hand Control

DESCRIPTION

The HC-6 Hand Control is designed for use with power
sources such as the Migmaster 300i cvcc. The HC-6
consist of a two button control box assembly , 25-ft. cable,
remote control male amphenol plug (P1) and remote
contactor female amphenol plug (P2).
INSTALLATION
refer to Figure 1
Make sure that all primary power to the power source
is disconnected before beginning installation of this
equipment.
Insert main control plug P1 into the J2 remote receptacle on the front panel of the power source. If you are
using a remote contactor switch, insert the amphenol
plug from the remote contactor switch assembly into the
HC-6’s P2 plug.
OPERATION
The HC-6 Hand Control contains two push buttons, Raise
and Lower. These push buttons allow remote control of
all the functions that are normally associated with the
arrow keys on the power source Control Panel.
The Raise and Lower push buttons can be used to increase and decrease the following:
Mig functions such as wire feed speed trim, or power
source inductance.
Tig welding current.
Stick welding current.
These adjustments can be made while welding, before
welding or after welding.
