FLUX HOPPER ASSEMBLY
Part No. 948147
The Flux Hopper Assembly (P/N 948147) provides a convenient means of storing 25 lbs. of submerged arc flux and
transmitting it to the welding zone. The hopper is supplied complete with a butterfly outlet valve, discharge hose and
a support bracket designed for mounting the hopper on a flat vertical surface. The hole pattern (in the support
bracket) consists of two 3/8-in. holes, one of which is slotted to provide 45° of mounting flexibility from the vertical.
The square hopper bottom allows the hopper to be repositioned on the gate assembly for additional mounting flexibility.
CAUTION: Before moving the Flux Hopper/Welding Head Assemblies, make sure the hopper sieve is secured by the
safety chain.
To mount the hopper below an EH-10 or -11 welding head, an optional Adaptor Bracket, P/N 2075665, is required.
Also available as an optional accessory is a Tube Guide Clamp (P/N 08V77) designed to secure the flux hose to the
busbar and nozzle assembly .
