SUMMARY: EMI filter PC board p.n. 0455803881 has been replaced by p.n. 05580067 27. The 0455803881 was designed to function when 3 phase power is applied to the ab ove units. In the event of a phase loss, single phase power is supplied and the increased current in the filter coils will cause a failure of the EMI Filter to occur.
OPERATIONAL IMPACT: EMI failure will result in an electrical short between phases of the input power leads, causing smoke and fire damage to the power module.
ACTION: 1-Inspect the EMI filters connected to the input section of each module , if signs of heat damag e is present or a failure has occurred, replace the filter w ith p.n. 0558006727.
