SUMMARY:
These wire feeder adaptors are designed to provide a means of connecting a limited number or
competitors wire feeders to the ESAB SCR type power sources to provide primarily wire feeder
main power and contactor control only. Remote voltage control is not supported but may be
usable depending on the model feeder being used.
We recommend that work be completed by a qualified electrical technician. Use the schematics
on the reverse side to determine if the competitive feeder in question can be used with the
adaptor.
The Miller adaptor is applicable to 24 and 42 vac wire feeders only and uses a 14 pin amphenol
receptacle. The Lincoln adaptor can handle 24/42 and 110 vac wire feeders by direct
connection to the appropriate terminals on the connector strip.
