BURNBACK / GAS CONTROL KIT
for MobileMaster 2 cv/cvcc Wire Feeders
P/N 36661
To prevent accidental electric shock, be sure control cable is disconnected
from power source or interface box before working inside the wire feeder.

1. Remove all input power from the wire feeder , and
open the feeder door.
2. Remove and retain the three screws securing the
top side cover of the P.C. Board compartment.
3. Remove the jumper plug from receptacle P4
(MobileMaster 2 cvcc) or P5 (MobileMaster 2 cv)
of the speed control board (PCB 1).
4. Connect the jumper cable supplied with the
Burnback / Gas control kit between receptacle P1
of the Burnback / Gas control kit and receptacle
P4 or P5 of the of the speed control board (PCB
1). Do not connect the Green and Violet leads from
the kit at this time.
5. Install the Burnback / Gas control kit where the
top side cover was removed and secure with the
three screws previously removed.
6. Set the desired Pre-flow , Post flow , and Burnback
times. Apply control power to the feeder and begin welding.
NOTE: For MobileMaster 2 cvcc Basic (without
contactor) the wire is always electrically hot
and the burnback control has no function. If
burnback control is desired, the optional
contactor kit P/N 36662 must be installed.
Be sure this information reaches the operator.
