INSTALLATION
To install Meter Kit, proceed as follows:
Before installing this kit, make sure all primary input power to to the power source is disconnected
and/or lock out procedures are in place.
1. Remove the two (2) screws from the upper corner
of the control panel on the power source and
open the control panel.
2. Remove the black plastic hole plug from the Volt/
Amp (V/A) switch mounting hole.
3. Install the meter panel assembly from the rear of
the control panel by inserting the V/A switch into
the hole in the control panel and securing the PC
board with two (2) #4-40 screws and washers
provided.
4. Place the black rubber switch seal on the switch
from the outside of the control panel and tighten.
5. Connect the 16-pin ribbon cable provided between connector “P2” of the power source main
control PC board and connector “P1” of the meter
PC board.
6. Close the power source control panel and secure
with the two (2) screws previously removed.
OPERATION
1. With the V/A switch in the “V” position, the meter
will read “Actual” output voltage.
2. With the V/A switch in the “A” position, the meter
will read “Pre-set” amps until the arc is struck.
Then it will read “Actual” amps.
