Prior to making a connection, read and follow the full instruction sheet IPRNS, the
full instruction sheet IPP, the full instruction sheet shipped with CADWELD (IPX),
and special instructions below.

Measure outside width of steel beam and cut bus bar the same length. Position 1.
bus bar on steel (As shown above).

Position mold on copper and steel beam, then lock mold securely.2.

Position backing plate on inside of steel beam and bus bar. Bottom of backing 3.
plate should be even with bottom of mold.

Clamp backing plate, bus bar, and mold together. This will hold bus in position 4.
on beam.

Check for any openings at bottom of mold and backing plate. Then pack with 5.
ERICO packing material to prevent leakage.

Position crucible on mold with sides even with sides of mold.6.

: Right & left hand molds are needed to make complete weld.
