BATTERY INSTALLATION
The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the clock. Open the battery cover. Remove the battery cover and insert one
“AA” battery and one 9V battery according to the polarity indication inside the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover.

TO SET THE TIME
To set the time, press and hold the Time Set Button (6) and the Hour Set Button (3) until the correct hour is displayed (and the
AM/PM is correct), then release the Hour Set button and press the Minute Set button (4) until the correct time is displayed.
TO SET THE ALARM TIME
To set the alarm time, press and hold the Alarm Set Button (5) and the Hour Set Button (3) or Minute Set button (4) as above.
Be sure to set the AM/PM properly too.
TO TURN THE ALARM ON
Slide the ALARM (1) Switch to the “ALARM ON” position. An “ALARM ON” indicator will appear in the display. The alarm will sound
at the desired hour.

When the alarm sounds, you can turn it OFF by sliding the ALARM (1) switch to the OFF”

TO USE THE SNOOZE
When the alarm sounds, simply press the SNOOZE/LIGHT (2) button. The alarm will stop and will sound again in approximately 4
minutes. You can continue to use the SNOOZE repeatedly and the alarm will sound 4 minutes after each time the SNOOZE/LIGHT (2)
button is pressed.
ALARM SOUND LEVEL
The alarm sound level can be selected as high or low, by sliding the Sound Level Switch [7] in the HI or LOW position.
NOTE: A 9V battery must be installed in order to have a high alarm sound output.
LIGHT
If you wish to view the current time during the night or in a darkened room, simply press the SNOOZE/LIGHT (2) button
momentarily. A light will come on in the display area allowing you to see the current time.
NOTE: Frequent use of the LIGHT feature will shorten the life of the battery.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The “AA” battery which powers your quartz clock should last approximately one year. If the clock steadily loses time, or if the alarm
sounds weak or abnormal, the battery should be replaced.
The 9V battery is used for high alarm sound level output. If the Sound Level Switch [7] is in the “HI” position, and the alarm sounds
weak or abnormal, the 9V battery should be replaced.
Your quartz clock contains highly precise electronic circuits. To maintain its high accuracy, do not subject it to shock, extreme
temperatures, or direct sunlight. Operating temperature range: 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to 50°C)
Two Year Warranty (U.S.A.)
Equity products are warranted for two years from the date of consumer purchase against defects in material and workmanship.
During this period such defects will be repaired, or the product will be replaced at Equity’s option. This warranty does not cover
damage caused by misuse or negligence. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR
FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD ENDING TWO YEARS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. Some
states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
