IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. Read all the instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse the power cord, plug, or connection box in water or
other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is in use or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Bring appliance to the nearest authorized
service facil ity for evaluation, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
cause injury.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not allow cord to hang over edge of table or counter, or to touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil.
12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn
any control to "OFF", then remove plug from the wall outlet
13. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.

INTRODUCTION
The SODIR model FC-33 convection/broiler oven is designed to offer quality baking, cooking,
rethermalization and finishing. The oven is constructed of food service quality stainless steel and is
equipped with rear-mounted blower fan and heatin g element assembly and two quartz broiling
elements, located at the top of the baking chamber. The unit is thermostatically controlled up to
480 F and includes a 120-minute timer. Two indicator lights - green and red - add convenience for
operator. The ove n is equipped with a rocker switch that allows alternating between convection and
broiling modes. Standard unit includes three wire baking racks and a bake pan. The oven will
accommodate 1/4-size sheet pan or 1/2-size cafeteria pan. Extra bake pans are ava ilable upon
request.

INSTALLATION
The SODIR convection/broiler oven needs to be connected to a grounded outlet of proper voltage
(208/240V or 120V) depending on the model. DO NOT place the unit in a damp area or near steam
sources. Make sure that the exterior rear ventilation panel is not blocked. Ma intain 4" clearance at
each side, rear and top of the oven.
OPERATION
PREHEATING
To preheat the convection/broiler oven, make sure that the operating mode switch is turned to
"convection" position, select the desired temperature by rotating the thermostat knob clockwise to
desired temperature setting and then turn the timer knob that also acts as an ON/OFF switch
clockwise to the maximum setting (120 minutes). Both indicator lights (green and red) will be lit.
