Before get started to use the card reader, read these instructions.

1. In some operating systems, the driver software must be installed before the operation.

2. Do not drop or allow forceful impact to the product, or install it in locations exposed by

heavy vibrations, as the product will be damaged.

3. Do not disassemble or modify the product in any way. Disassembly or modification may

not only void warranty but also could cause damage.

4. Do not use or store the product in damp locations or under high temperature.

5. Liquid entering the product also may cause damage or lead to failures or electric shock.

6. Do not remove the memory cards from card reader while LED indicator is flashing, which

indicates the device is being accessed by the computer.

USB 3.0 interface provides a reliable and fast connection for PCs, consumer electronics and

communications devices.

The equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card Reader 3.5” is a powerful device to expand the interfaces of

your PC. The easy-to-mount mechanical design with packed screw set allows you an easy

installation. In addition, the slot-to-slot data exchange feature enables your data management

among several devices at the same time and is more efficient.

4. Hardware Installation

Caution:



Electrostatic discharge may damage electronic components. Ensure the system is

properly grounded before using.



Handle the product by the plastic stand. Do not touch any electronic components.



Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cord before installing the product.

Please follow the steps below to install the equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card

Reader 3.5”.

1. Remove the cover of your computer. (Refer to your computer hardware manual for

instructions on removing the cover.)

2. Remove the 3.5” drive bay’s plastic cover on the PC front panel.
