The e-pill CADEX V8 Vibrating Medication Reminder
Eight (8) Alarm Watch (SKU 931229) is an innovative
device to help improve medication adherence and
patient compliance.

• Up to 8 Daily Alarms

• Choice of Vibration Alarm / Sound Alarm or

Both (Sound and Vibration)

• No alarm reset required

• Long alarm duration 3 x 20 seconds (60

seconds in total)

• Easy to read large display

• Back light

HOW TO SET THE CORRECT TIME / DATE

Your new e-pill CADEX V8 watch may be in power
saving mode (no display). Press A+B+C+D at the
same time to start the watch if you do not have a
display.

If your watch does not show the correct time please
follow these instructions:

 Press & hold button D (SET) for 3 seconds to

enter setting mode. The hours will start
flashing

 Tap A (+) until the correct Hour is reached.

Please note the AM/PM indicator in the top
left hand corner. To go backwards tap B (-)

 Tap D
 Tap A until the correct Minute is reached
 Tap D
 Tap A until the correct Year is reached
 Tap D
 Tap A until the correct Month is reached

(1=January, 2=February … 12= December)

 Tap D
 Tap A until the correct Day of the Month is

reached

 Tab D to leave setting mode

Congratulations - you have now set your new e-pill

CADEX V8 Vibrating 8 Alarm Watch to the correct

time and date.

TEST MODE

While in normal time display, press & hold button B
(LIGHT) for 5 seconds and the vibrator and beeper
will turn on for 2 seconds.

BACK LIGHT

Tap button B (LIGHT) for Back Light (3 seconds
illumination).

BASIC FUNCTIONS

AM/PM (12 HOUR) or 24 HOUR MODE

Press and hold A button to toggle between AM/PM
(12 Hour) or 24 Hour (Military Time) mode.

HOW TO SET DAILY ALARMS

While in normal time mode, Tap button C (ALARM)
to go to the alarm you want to set.
Alarm-1 is AL-1, Alarm-2 is AL-2, Alarm-3 is AL-3 ….
and Alarm-8 is AL-8.

For each DAILY ALARM do the following:

 Press & hold button D (SET) for 3 seconds to

enter setting mode. The hours will start
flashing.

 Tap A until the correct Hour is reached. Please

note the AM/PM indicator above in the top left
hand corner. To go backwards tab B (-).

 Tap D
 Tap A until the correct Minute is reached.
 Tap D to leave setting mode
 Tap A to select alarm mode for each alarm.

Possible settings are Sound Alarm On,
Vibrating Alarm On, BOTH (Sound and
Vibration) Alarm On and Alarm OFF (no
symbol shown)

Proceed to your next alarm - Tap C (ALARM).
Each alarm lasts for 3 x 20 seconds. 20 seconds of

alarm (Vibration, Sound or Vibration AND Sound) are
followed by 40 seconds of silence. This series
repeats three (3) times for a total of 60 seconds.
Tap any button to stop the alarm.

NO Alarm Reset Required.
The e-pill CADEX V8 will repeat each alarm set on a

daily basis – no reset required.

All the alarms will reset at midnight and automatically

repeat every day at the same time.

Battery:

Replaceable CR2032 3V Button Cell

We suggest you take the watch to a

jeweler to have the battery replaced.

The manufacturer Monico Properties Ltd covers
manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase.
Battery, straps, glass or damage caused by misuse are not

POWER SAVING FUNCTION

You may want to temporarily shutdown your e-pill
CADEX V8 in order to save the battery (power saving
mode). Press all four buttons A+B+C+D at the same
time while in normal time display. While in power
saving mode, the time clock will stop and the display
will turn off. Press A+B+C+D to re-start your e-pill
CADEX V8 Alarm Watch.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

 Unscrew the watch bottom cover and open it (1).
 Unscrew the battery holder (2). Remove bracket

by sliding it to the right.

 Replace the battery with a new 3 Volt Lithium

Button Cell (CR2032). The + side facing you (3).

 Replace the battery bracket. Screw back the

battery holder.

 Use a metal tool to short circuit the two RESET

contacts -see illustration (5).

 Check the watch display (6) to make sure it is

working. If not repeat the reset step.

 Screw back the bottom cover. Make sure it is

aligned with the words on the bottom cover
facing up.

 Perform the TEST MODE function by holding in

B button (9) until the vibrator and beeper are
turned on.

 Battery life is estimated to be 4 to 6 months but

depends in the number of alarms and how long
each alarm is sounding.
