Introduction
The Enviro Power Saver is an easy-to-use plug socket that saves energy by turning off electrical devices, which would otherwise be on standby.
Green light This unique product automatically switches off power to all other devices when the TV or computer has been switched off or put on standby. The Enviro Power Saver is designed to save standby energy to help save money and help reduce carbon emissions.
The Enviro Power Saver can be used with all types of devices from small LCD TV sets and laptop computers to large plasma or LCD screens and powerful microcomputers. It can be used with all types of screen technology and computers (i.e. PCs and Macs).
Surge Protection
The Enviro Power Saver has a built-in surge protector to protect all electrical devices from
power surges and prevent damage to TV
and/or computer applications, while saving data and minimizing the risk of fire to the appliances.
When the green light is on, it indicates that the surge protector is functioning. Once surge occurs, all the plugged-in devices will be protected. The surge protector will not be damaged unless a very strong surge hits the Enviro` Power Saver. However, when the green light is off, it means the surge protector can no longer function. The product’s power saving function will still work, but to ensure surge protection, we suggest you buy a new Enviro Power Saver.
Red light
When the power-saving function of the products works normally, the red light is off. Once the red lamp is on, it means the powersaving function of the products (MASTER and SLAVE sockets) cannot work anymore, but the NORMAL socket still works. You still can use the product as an extension wire. However, in order to save power and protect devices from surge, you must replace it with a new Enviro Power Saver.
