Installation:
1
. Shut off the power from all equipment.
2. Plug the master device (either TV or a
computer main unit) into the MASTER
socket.
3. Plug all the peripherals or accessories that
need to be turned off when not using the
master device into the SLAVE sockets.
4. Plug any device you do not want to turn
off into the NORMAL socket. This is the
only socket that will keep a device on
standby.
5. Set the switch on the side of the socket:
a. SMALL- for smaller TV/PC/MAC
systems
b. BIG - for larger TV/PC/MAC systems
Nothing will be damaged if you select the
wrong power size system.
6. Put the plug of the Enviro Power Saver into
the socket on the wall.
Test:
1. Turn on your master device, which is
plugged into the MASTER socket. After
a while, you will see that the Enviro
Power Saver has automatically turned
on the power to all the accessories
plugged in the SLAVE sockets.
2. Turn your master device off. After a while,
you will see that the Enviro Power Saver
has automatically turned off the power to
all the accessories plugged in the
SLAVE sockets.
3. Your Enviro Power Saver has now been
installed correctly and will work
automatically.
Enviro Power Saver
Sockets:
NORMAL MASTER SLAVE
(far left socket) (2nd left socket) (right-hand 4 sockets)
Plug in a TV set. Plug in any of the following
TV accessories: DVD player,
Video recorder, Surround
sound system, Games
console,
Digital/Satellite/Cable box,
etc.
Plug in an independent
electrical device that should
not be turned off, such as
air conditioner, clock, etc.
Plug in a computer
(PC/Mac).
Plug in any of the following
Computer accessories:
Computer screen
Printer/scanner
Modem
Speakers
Fax machine, etc.
