1. INTRODUCTION
Energ y Sistem ® thanks y ou for buying your new Energ y™ Tab let. We hope you enjoy it.
This Ener gy™ Tablet belongs to Energy™ MID (Mobile Internet Device): a new gener ation of portab le entertainme nt devices based on AndroidTM
operating syst em, with which you c an access the Inte rnet anytime, anywhere, check your email or play any multimedia content (HD video up to 1080p,
music, photos, eBooks, etc.).
In addition, thousands of available applications and game s so you can get the mos t out the device. The system has 8" 800 x600 (i824) / 1024x768
(i828) pixel r esolution and 5 poin ts multi-touch sc reen, motion sens or, s tereo speakers, microS D card reader and HDMI output. I t also has a USB
port that can conn ect devices like pen drives, a keyboa rd or mouse, also allow you to access the me mory of the table t connected to a PC / Mac by
activating OTG or "mass storage mode."
We recomme nd you to read this manual to enjoy your device in a safe way and ma ximizing perf ormance.
2. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Do not expose your Energy ™ Table t to shock, dust, direct sunlig ht, humidity or hig h temperature s.
≥ Do not us e cleaners or scour ing agents.
≥ Keep the device clean and dust free w ith a soft, dry c loth.
≥ Recharge the b attery when t he display shows low b attery icon.
≥ Do not disassemble the device. An y repairs must be made by Ener gy Sistem Soy ntec SA qualifi ed personnel only.

6. HOME SCREEN
After t urning on the device and load the operating syst em AndroidTM the main de sktop of your Ener gy ™ Tablet is displayed. This disp lay consists of
the following:

1. Deskt op: In all your Energ y ™ Tablet has 5 desks. To move bet ween desktops simply dr ag your finger acro ss the screen, mov ing from left to r ight
or vice ver sa.
You can set as you like each of the desk top by adding or removing Widgets, changing th e wallpaper ... etc. just pres s the Menu icon and then
select Add.
Widget s can be relocated t o other areas of the same desk or be easil y erased. To move a widget from it s current location click on it a nd keep it
selected a few sec onds. To delete the selec ted Widget hold it f or a few seconds wit hout releasing it, you will see the Trash icon appear on screen,
drag the w idget to the Trash and dr op it.
2. Status Bar: Located on t he botton righ t of the screen show s important inf ormation such as system no tifications, inform ation on active tasks, and
so on. Moreover, in this bar y ou can check the bat tery status , current time or the level of WiFi signal recep tion.
Also shown are some short cut icons such as: Home, volume con trols, the Back bu tton or Menu acces s.
To display the not ification list, click on the c entral part of the status bar and drag it down.
3. Application menu: Clicking on t he icon in the top righ t of the desktop, open the Applications scree n showing all the application s installed on the
device.
4. Back: Return to the prev ious screen.
5. Home: Go to main deskt op.
6. Running aplications: Shows all the active aplications.
7. Menu: Shows available opt ions.
7. BATTERY AND POWER MANAGEMENT
Your Energ y ™ Tablet has an integr ated rechargeable lithium ion bat tery. Initially t he battery is c harged at the factory, but you should per form a full
charge be fore first use.
Rechar ge the batter y by connecting the device to t he outlet using the A C adapter AC / DC 5V included wi th the product. The c harging time ranges
from 3- 5 hours, depending on w hether the devic e is off or running. To keep the batt ery in good condition we reco mmend that you turn i t off while

charging and not le ave it loading more than 8 hours .
You have several ways to improve per formance and optimize the use of the battery of your Energ y ™ Tablet:
Set the screen of f automatically after a few sec onds of inactivity in Se ttings> Display> S creen timeout.
Choose op timal screen brightne ss level in the Set tings menu> Display> Br ightness.
Disable W i-Fi if you're not using the Internet, go to S ettings> Wireless & Net working> Wi-Fi.
To extend the b attery life is not recommended t o completely disa ble these energ y saving systems.
8. SWITCHING ON/OFF
To switch on your Energ y ™ Tablet, press the on / of f (3) located on the side of the device for a few s econds. When the operating system has loade d you
will have t o unlock the device to s tart using it. To do this dr ag your finger to the releas e bar (which appears on t he bottom of the screen) to the right.
To power off pr ess and hold the on / of f until you see the shutdown m enu, then choose "Off."
Briefly pres s of the button on / of f (3) lock / unlock the devic e at the same time tur ned on or off the scr een and activate the power s aving mode.
9. SCREEN CALIBRATION
The touch s creen of your Energ y ™ Tablet must be prope rly calibrated to use the device wi th ease and precision. The system is c alibrated at origin
and is ready to be use d when it reaches your hands, but for var ious reasons, such as updating the fir mware, reset t he system set tings or installing an
application that m odifies the preset set tings, recalib ration may be neces sary.
To recalibrate the touc h screen manually, go to Sett ings> Calibrate the touch panel.
Self-calibrat ion will start, it w ill finish after a few seconds and prompt you to press the button "OK" to f inish.

10. INTERNET CONNECTION
The Energy ™ Tablet pu ts the Internet in the palm of y our hand, thanks to its abilit y to access Wi-Fi wireless 802.11b / g.
To start enjo ying this featur e you must first c onfigure the de vice's connection to a WiF i access point. To this end en ter the Settings option f rom the
application menu and then select "Wireless connections and net works."

Enable Wi -Fi box menu to make the syste m automaticall y search for available net works.
Select t he Wi-Fi Settings to disp lay the detected networks and cli ck on the one you want to connect. En ter the passwor d if necessar y.
Note: Your Energ y ™ Tablet is compatible with the securi ty and encryp tion standards WEP, TKIP and AES.
Once you hav e completed the authentic ation process, succes sfully your Energy ™ Tablet will save the data access to the W iFi network and be ready
for you use t he Internet. The de vice will remembe r the network and automatically connect t o it when it becomes available.

Your new Energ y ™ Tablet has a power ful Web browser among the list of applica tions installed b y default, that lets you use the Intern et quickly and
eas ily.
Once the device is con nected to a WiFi network , click on the browser icon on the desk top or in the applica tion menu to star t the program. T he
