UNIVERSAL CHARGER
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• For Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) rechargeable AA, AAA, C, D
& 9V batteries only.
• Never charge NiCd and NiMH batteries together.
• Do not use to charge Alkaline, Carbon Zinc, Lithium or any other kind of battery not
specified on the charger.
• Remove the batteries from the unit once they are charged, and disconnect the charger from
the power outlet.
• For indoor use only.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Connect the AC adapter’s output plug to the charger.
2. Open the safety cover by pressing the “OPEN” button. Insert batteries in the charger
respecting the polarity (+/-).
If the polarity is reversed or the batteries are not suitable for charging, the red LED will flash and
the charger will not start charging.
3. Load either:
AA/HR6/RC6 2 or 4 pieces at a
time
AAA/HR03/RC3 2 or 4 pieces at a
time
C/HR14/RC14 2 or 4 pieces at a
time
D/HR20/RC20 2 or 4 pieces at a
time
9V/HR22 1 or 2 pieces at a
time
DO NOT MIX BATTERY SIZES OR CAPACITIES IN SAME CHANNEL WHILE CHARGING.

4. Plug the charger to a household electric outlet. The red LED will illuminate indicating that
charging is in progress.
5. When AA, AAA, C & D batteries are charged (CH1, CH2), the red LED will turn off after the
pre-set charging time is reached. The green LED will light up indicating that the trickle
charge is on. The batteries are charged and ready for use.
