0. HOW TO READ AND USE THIS MANUAL
This manual must be considered as an integral part of the battery charger.
This manual must be saved for the entire life span of the battery charger.
This manual must accompany the battery charger whenever the same is assigned to others.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
With reference to the General safety rules, the efficiency of the battery charger must be devolved upon qualified personnel. The Builder is not responsible for damages occurred to objects or persons if caused from negligence of personnel that ignore the rules of the present Manual.
ATTENTION: NEVER put in short circuit the poles + and - of the battery charger.
Furthermore, the safety rules calculate the following fundamental points :
It’s forbidden remove the battery charger shell.
Do not touch the device in case of wet hands or wet feet.
Do not pull the power cable in order to disconnect the device from battery.
Do not expose the device to atmospheric conditions ( rain, sun, etc. )
During the cleaning of the battery charger it’s compulsory the interruption of all the energies
connected to it.
The failure of the respect of the instructions for use, the service effected from NOT AUTHORIZED personnel , declares the warranty NO MORE VALID.
1.2.
IDENTIFICATION DATA
Battery charger identification data are indicated on a plate located on its case.
DISPOSAL:
This product can NOT be considered as simple urban rubbish. This product must be treated from a separate collection of rubbish centre recognized from the recycling Agency.
1.3.
WARRANTY
The battery charger referred to this Manual, is guaranteed according to the law, effective from the date of invoice. The Warranty is no more valid if :
Terms for maintenance not respected
Damages due to a wrong use , to be more precise functioning limits overcoming (see technical data
schedule )
Deformation or breakage of the box.
Opening of the box.
Routine service or maintenance effected from NOT qualified personnel.

2.1.

ENERGA battery charger is built in compliance with the following laws :
EN61000-3-2; EN61000-4-2; EN61000-4-4; EN61000-4-5; EN61000-4-11; 61000-4-8; CEI EN60950-1
3. CONNECTION AND FUNCTIONING
After the unpacking, check the battery charger in order to exclude possible mechanical damages. Don’t use the battery charger if damaged. If you are not sure, pls. contact your supplier. Verify the correct polarity of the whole plant that you will connect. The polarity is indicated on the connector of the battery through the following symbols :

is quipped with crocodile clip connectors of the following colours :
RED Positive polarity (+)
BLACK Negative polarity (-)
Connect the battery charger before to the battery and only after this operation, connect it to the electric socket. Connect the battery charger RED connector to the positive pole (+) of the battery and the other connector to the negative pole (-).

is quipped with a red Anderson Connector (SB50)
Meaning of the LEDs:
