INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Please read these instructions carefully before fitting your new light and retain for reference.
WARNING: This luminaire is Double Insulated and does not require earthing.
1. Screw fit the decorative bar that is used to move the head to the desired position. IMPORTANT: Only use the tip
of the adjustment rod to move the angle of the head.
2. Fit glass if applicable.
3. Plug the unit into the Mains socket and switch on.
Touch the stem once for dim light.
Touch the stem again for brighter light.
Touch the stem once more for brightest light.
Touch the stem again to switch off.
3. If the unit does not light up, check to make sure the lamp is properly inserted. If the unit still does not light, turn off
the switch at the mains socket and remove the plug. Check the fuse in the plug and if necessary replace with a 3A
fuse. If the unit still does not work, please consult your retailer for advice.
4. Replacement Lamps
Should a lamp need to be replaced the user MUST ensure that the replacement is a 240V 33W G9
(Replacement lamps may be obtained from the stockist where you purchased this article)
This product is supplied with G9 lamps.
Warning
Keep lamp away from flammable materials; maintain a minimum distance of 0.5m from any flammable
materials such as curtains, clothing etc.
Maintenance and Care.
1. Never touch the bulb if the lamp is switched on or if it has just been switched off in order to avoid burning.
2. To avoid electrical shocks never uncover the base.
3. Avoid direct contact of the lamp with water.
4. Before replacing a defective bulb, unplug the lamp and let it cool down for at least 10 minutes.
5. If necessary, the lamp can be cleaned with a clean dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use polishes or abrasive cleaners
as this will damage the lacquer finish on the base.
**CAUTION: please unplug it at least 10 minutes before cleaning.
6. The lamp should be placed on a dry and clean surface.
7. Only use the lamp indoors.
8. If the external cable or cord is damaged it should be replaced by the
manufacturer or his service agent or similar qualified person in order to avoid
hazard.
9. If the plug is damaged and requires replacement, a UK approved 3-Pin plug
fitted with 3A fuse should be used.
10. Plug should be wired up as shown.
