The Light pack contains:
Light fitting with LED Power Supply and mounting bracket.
Selection of cross and flat head screwdrivers. Electric drill and assorted drill bits. Wire strippers. Electrical insulation tape.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
These products are only suitable for connection to a 240V~50Hz supply in accordance with current IEE wiring Regulations and should be installed in accordance with local Building Regulations and are for Domestic use only and not suitable for bathroom use.
The light fitting should be connected to a lighting circuit protected by a 5 amp fuse (or a 6 amp miniature circuit breaker).
If in doubt we recommend you contact a qualified electrician. Before installing your light fitting always: Switch off the mains supply and remove the appropriate fuse or switch off the appropriate circuit breaker before commencing installation. Ensure that no one else has access that would enable the supply to be inadvertently reconnected.
This product contains delicate parts – be careful during handling and maintenance to avoid breakage.
The fitting may become hot during use so please switch off and allow 10 minutes to cool before maintenance or cleaning the fitting.
Clean with a dry cloth only. Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners on this product. This is a fixed, not a portable, light fitting and as such it must be secured to the mounting surface
and hard wired. This fitting uses none-replaceable LED`s. We recommend that you do not stare directly into the light beam.
Make sure that all exposed cables – mains in and connection cables – are routed such they will not be damaged and the safety of the product compromised.
All basic insulation must be contained within the connection housing. If any modification is made it will invalidate the warranty and may render the product unsafe.
Before you start
Please read these instructions carefully before fitting your new light and retain for reference. Make sure that there are no pipes or cables beneath the mounting surface.
Check the packaging and make sure that you have all the required parts. Follow each assembly step in order to prevent incorrect assembly.
This is a class II, double insulated light, (denoted by the symbol
) and the fitting does not require an Earth. Any earth cables present must be connected together, to ensure earth continuity of the circuit, and isolated from the Live and Neutral terminal connections, if necessary by wrapping the earth terminal and connections with 2 layers of good quality insulation tape.
Make sure all screws / nuts, including electrical connections etc are fully tightened before use. This type of Light Fitting must not be connected to a Dimmer.

Assembly/ User Instructions
These assembly diagrams are intended as a guide – if in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

1. Decide on the position of
your light fittings. Ensure there is a solid mounting surface and ensure that there are no cables or pipes beneath the surface. If the surface is timber frame and plasterboard then please use appropriate fixings. Ensure the fixings used can support the weight of the light. Determine the
position of the mains supply in relation to the lights and the proposed cable runs.
2. Diagram A. Secure the fixing brackets to the mounting surface as shown. Start by drilling a small pilot hole then screw the brackets to the surface.
3. Diagram B. Secure the lights in place.
4. Diagram C. Connect the light to the LED power supply and then secure the LED power supply to a suitable surface as shown.
5. Connect the trailing cable to the house wiring.
NOTE: This is a Class II, double insulated fitting and does not require an earth connection – see comments in `Before You start`. The mains in Live supply should be connected to the L terminal and the mains in Neutral supply to the N terminal. – see wiring details. IMPORTANT:-
All basic insulation MUST be inside the connection box housing.
6. Turn on the power and test.
