Hardware & Software Installation
It is recommended that you remove any previously installed sound card and drivers prior to installing the ENM232-6VIA Surround Sound Card to avoid any conflicts. If previously installed drivers are not removed, the ENM232-6VIA Surround Sound Card perhaps not functions properly.
(Note: If your computer has on-board sound you will need to disable it on the motherboard. For more information please see your computer’s documentation or contact your computer’s manufacturer.)

The rear panel of the ENM232-6VIA has the following jacks:
1. Line In (blue) – Connect to tape/CD/DVD player, or other audio sources for output mixing and/or recording
2. Mic In (pink) – Connect to microphone
3. Front-Speaker (green) – Output to speakers with amplifier or earphones or audio-in of home stereo
4. Rear-Speaker (black) – Connect to the rear speakers while four/six channel speakers mode is enabl ed
5. Center/Sub-woofer (orange) – Connect to the c enter speaker and sub-woofer while six channel spea kers mode is enabled
Notice: The 4 channel mode is not available on the Windows 8, 7 and Vista.

Driver Installation
1. Insert the installation CD
into the CD-ROM drive. The setup screen will automatically appear.
2.
Click the “Software
Driver” button.
3. Follow any on-screen
instructions to complete the software installation.
4.
After driver installation is
complete, please restart your computer in order to use.
Launch the Application Software
The Audio Deck application provides full featured audio utility that allows you adjust audio output, record, sound effect and surround sound. During driver installation, a quick launch icon is placed in the Windows taskbar. Click on following icon to open the Audio Deck control pane.

1. Click the “Advanced
Control” button.
2. Click the “Channel 6
button”, and then click the “Test” button.
3. Click each speaker from virtual home theater when testing your
speaker connection.
