INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Be certain that barrel nuts and bolts screw together easily BEFORE beginning assembly.
TOOLS:
Provided: Installation wall anchors, bolts, and hex wrench
You will need: level, tape measure, pencil, electric drill and 1/8” drill bit, hammer and nail.
1. Decide where you want to place your utensil bar.
Consider the height of the wall where the bar will hang,
keeping in mind how far below the bar your pot and
utensils will hang. On the wall (use a level to ensure that
the bar is horizontal) mark the two points where the bar
will attach.
INSTALL IN WOOD: If you need to install one or both
sides of your rack in wood, use as many of the four wall
screws (30A) included, but without a red sleeve.
INSTALL IN DRYWALL: After marking the 2 locations for
the screws, drill a small 1/8 inch or slightly larger hole but only enough to guide/insert the wall anchors (30A) into
the dry wall hole so that they are flush against the wall. Once the wall anchors have been inserted, line up the
wall bar so that you can now insert the screws through the wall bar and into the wall anchors. Tighten but do not
over tighten and ensure that the wall bar is mounted snugly on the wall.
WARNING: It is important that your utensil rack is assembled correctly. If the unit is assembled or used incorrectly, it could become
unstable and collapse, possibly causing injury.
LIMITED WARRANTY: This product is warranted to be free of material defects, other than that from normal use, for a period of one year
from the date of purchase. Customer's exclusive remedy shall be the repair or replacement of the defective product and shall be subject to
the following conditions: (1) notice of any defect is received by RIU within the warranty period and (2) customer returns the defective
product to RIU, 24 Colwell St., Port Hadlock, WA 98339, postage prepaid within 20 days following a return authorization number (which
may be obtained by telephoning the number at the top of this instructions) being provided to the customer by RIU. There are no other
warranties, expressed or implied. There are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. RIU specifically disclaims
any and all incidental or consequential damages arising out of the purchase or use of RIU’s products.
