ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) L ayrackbod y(oval)onfirm surface.P rotectsu rface withcorru gated box ifnecessary.
2) Id entifythe fou r" UprightA rms." Usingthe 5/16" x 1/2" buttonhead screwsattachthe u prights tothe ovalas shown.D o notfu lly
tightenscrews atthistime.
3) L ocate the " TopB ar" and attachtothe fou r"UprightA rms" as shownin drawingu singthe two5/16" x 7 /8 " bu ttonhead screws
and the two 5/16" hex nu ts.Tightenallscrewsatthistime
4) Y ou rRackmaybe carefu llyanchored intosolid wood ofthe ceilingjoistorbeams.C arefullymeasure the areawhere the rackis
tobe hungand installthe ceilingscrew hooks (approximately16" apart).If you are mou ntingin plasterboard ,u se the Toggles and
follow the instru ctionprovid ed inthe kit.
5) P lace the six grid bracketsoverthe sid es ofthe rack,two oneachend ofthe ovaland fourju stinside eachofthe u prightarms
withthe straightend ofthe bracketsfacingtoward s the inside ofthe rack.N extplace the grid ontopofthe grid brackets.(See
note and d rawingnextpage).
6) Insertthe " S" hooks into eachofthe remainingholesinthe topbarand the otherend throughone end ofthe chain.C arefu llylift
you rrackintoplace and attachthe otherend ofthe chainontothe ceilinghooks.
7 ) H angyourheavieritemsonthe straightportionofthe rackbodyorthe centerofthe grid area.
8 ) A llofou rhammered steelracks are finished withan indu strialwax d esigned togive years ofprotectiontothe rack.C leaningis

Note: Grid as shown in drawings is upside down for illustration purposes. Please turn grid over so crossbars that extend the
width of the grid are facing down. This will help to keep grid from sliding out of position when rack is in use.
